Description

Big sister Miranda wisely counsels her effervescent little sister Goose (who would happily wear her tutu in the snow and sparkly dress-up shoes to the playground) in this tender, playful picture book about two popular themes: siblings and the getting-dressed battle.

Perfect for fans of Charlie and Lola, readers will smile at the unique choices Goose makes, and smile at her big sister's creative problem solving.

Dress-up shoes for the playground? A tutu in the snow? A wizard hat in the bathtub? Goose loves to show her big sister, Miranda, the imaginative, sparkly, and often unexpected outfits she put on. “TA-DA!” Goose says, and then she’s ready for school in her bathing suit! “Oh, Goose!” says her sister Miranda. But Miranda is gentle and always offers Goose suggestions for making her choices work.

Written by Alyssa Capucilli, author of the Biscuit books, with adorable illustrations by award-winning illustrator Hyewon Yum, here is a delightful sibling book about how we help each become more flexible when we use kindness.

A heartwarming and adorable sibling story! It's giving Max & Ruby meetings Ramona and Beezus vibes. I love sweet sibling stories where the main character is adoring the quirky sibling. Personalities are embraced, collaboration occurs, and daily life is evident on every page. Your kids will love this cute story and the wonderful illustrations, I know mine did!

So adorable. Miranda is the big sister guiding her little sister goose in clothing choices. Both of them have huge imaginations, Miranda is just a little more grounded. They enjoy each other’s company. Magnificent illustrations. Highly recommend. Fun, quick read.

I was blessed with an ARC. Thank you, NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own and unbiased.

I loved this book. It’s about a cautious big sister and her precocious little sister. I think I liked this book so much because I was a big sister and I felt very important and took that role very seriously. This is a great book for the oldest sibling.

Cute book that celebrates the differences, creativity, and individuality of each person. I like how the big sister accepted Goose's style but helped guide her when it was appropriate to do so. Great book for all kids, but especially siblings.

What a cute little picture book for the entire family! Miranda and Goose are two sisters who are inseparable and their adventures in helping Goose make better life choices. With a big sister like Miranda, Goose is very lucky to have an amazing influence to help her along the way. The themes to this story are great for teaching young readers about independence, friendship, having a good family structure and sibling caring and being a leader to those in need.

I definitely would love to get a physical copy of this book to add to my daughter's library to read over and over again until the pages fall apart. She definitely loved this story!

I would love to thank the author, publisher and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC book in exchange for an honest review.
