In If You See as Jesus Sees Elizabeth Oates deals with issues such as self loathing.  We are reminded too not to let our lives be ruled in pain.  Oates points out if we stay in self loathing for to long it turns into people loathing.  It is pointed out too the negative outlook that media often gives women the body shaming we feel when we don't look like the skinniest most popular actress.  We are told that  when we criticize ourselves we call God a liar.

Elizabeth Oates points out that nothing good comes from comparing our unique calling from God to someone else.  There are times we feel more lonely in a room full of people then we do if there is only one other person in the room.

If You Could See as Jesus Sees is great for either individual or group study.

I give this book five out of five stars...
