Our Perfect Storm is a best friend’s to lovers story that follows George and Francesca (Frankie) from childhood, adolescence, into adulthood. Always the best of friends until something changes in their relationship and they need to decide if it’s worth it.
When Frankie wakes up the morning she’s supposed to get married and finds a note from her fiancé that he can’t marry her.
She’s devastated and her best friend George and family rally around her. George ends up going to Tofino with Frankie on what would have been her honeymoon.
George has decided a 7 days plan to help Frankie get over her almost marriage. George and Frankie have devoted apart over the last few years and they want to find their way back.
Over the next 7 days they work through George’s daily plans and reminisce about their own relationship and experiences. Something has changed though. They look at each other a little longer than usual, their chemistry is off the charts and the sexual tension is palpable.
George and Frankie need to decide if going further is worth the risk to their friendship. Were they always meant to be together and just needed to wait for the right time?
I loved this book! I really enjoyed George and Frankie’s relationship and their history. This was a slllowww burn but definitely worth the wait. This is a 5 start read for me!
