Together Right Now is agently eye-opening picture book that encourages children to imagine lives beyond their own. It invites young readers to think about the many different experiences happening around the world at the very same moment, whether at sea, in space, in bustling cities, quiet homes, or areas facing hardship.

The art style is striking, created with mixed media visuals that feel textured and unique. The text is minimal and never overwhelms the imagery, allowing each scene to stand out while still guiding children through the idea of shared but diverse human experiences.

Though short, the book offers impactful snapshots of life across the globe and fosters empathy and curiosity. A lovely read for families and classrooms wanting to spark conversations about perspective, understanding, and the wide world beyond our own daily routines.

The illustrations in the book are beautiful. This is a great book to read to students and have them reflect on the different perspectives. I like that the pictures in the book tell the story.

Together, Right Now ended too soon for me! I love the premise of the book, and it has a lot of potential to be a great book that invites children to understand the vastness of our planet. I felt it needed more to be able to do that though, maybe highlighting more regions, what the people were doing not just in picture but in texts.
