Yes! Loved it! Loved Camden's character. Cocky jock who goes down hard for the FMC. The banter between the 2 was spot on. I couldn't stop laughing when Cam got his little sister a "Get well soon" card after she got her first period. The humor in this was so good! Can't wait for the next book!

So this is my first book by Sophie and I am so glad I was accepted for this ARC (thank you Sophie and your team!) because I thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved the banter between Camden and Nadine, including their witty comments, insults and sarcasm. I also really liked how Sophie represented the deaf community really well.
Apart from the banter, I also really loved the emotional and vulnerable moments between Camden and Nadine. Without spoiling the book too much, I loved how Camden and Nadine broke down their walls and let each other in. It was really wholesome and enjoyable to see. Although I wouldn’t say the book is extremely spicy, the chemistry and tension was there and it was written well. ❤️
I have read a lot of romance over the years, but sports romances always seem to hit a little differently for me. I especially enjoy stories where the FMC does not see herself as the athlete’s “type,” because that dynamic adds vulnerability and emotional depth to the relationship. When you also throw in an enemies to lovers element, I am instantly interested. That combination alone made me really excited to pick up this book.
One of the things I loved most is that the story is told in first person with alternating perspectives. I also appreciated that the book opens with the MMC’s point of view, which hooked me right away. It gave me a deeper understanding of his mindset from the start, and I found myself rooting for him throughout the story. The added layer of a forbidden or secret romance gave everything an extra edge and raised the emotional stakes in a way I really enjoyed.
All in all, I really liked this book. The romance was engaging, the tension kept me turning pages, and the characters were easy to invest in. My only small disappointment is that we did not get to spend more time with the FMC’s siblings, but I am hopeful we will see more of them in future books. I would definitely continue on with this series.

I've said it before, I will say it again: this is the golden age of Sophie Andrews! I absolutely loved Camden & Nadine's love story. Camden started off as suchhhh as asshole but WOW his character growth was unmatched. I loved how he & Nadine loved each other so unapologetically, and I really loved the deaf representation that we saw with Nadine's family & Camden's sister. Check the trigger warnings as there is a lot of grief in this one, but wow what a fantastic read!
Huge thanks to Sophie Andrews for letting me be on her street team, and to NetGalley for providing an ARC!

Camden Long is a professional football player that is facing tragedy when the story begins and becomes the care taker of his teen age deaf sister. Camden lives in another state from his sister and has not kept up with his ASL sign language. Nadine is the younger sister of Camden's friend/teammate. Nadine is a school teacher facing some hardships that come from her job. During her summer break, Nadine stays with her brother to decide if she wants to remain a school teacher or start a different career. Her brother tells her about the tragedy that Camden is facing and asks if she could help look out for Camden's sister. Nadine and Camden have some history/past miscommunication of a siuation. They butt at heads for a bit but start to develop a very deep powerful connection. I love seeing the characters grow. I hope there will be more books in this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this e-arc in exchange for my honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely be recommending it! Recently, I've been feeling that a lot of the adult sports romance books are all the same and can blur together, but this one really stood out for me. I thought the inclusion of the MMC's little sister was a great addition and totally made the story work, and I appreciated the deaf representation as well. I liked the dynamic between the two main characters and the way that they started as enemies, but as they spent time together, they realized they'd misjudged/prematurely judged one another. Getting to see them learn more about each other beyond the persona they present to the world was really sweet. I thought the banter was well written and the pacing of their romance was good, however once they were together, they started talking about forever and marriage almost immediately which felt a bit instalove as they'd only become friends within the last four months. Overall, this is a unique sports romance, and I would recommend it widely!
This story does not ease you in. It pulls you under and asks you to feel everything.
Camden is a football star whose worst choices have become his defining headline. The talent is undeniable, but so is the damage. When tragedy strikes, he is forced to face a version of himself he can no longer outrun or smooth over. That reckoning becomes even more complicated when Nadine enters the picture, his best friend’s sister, sharp, overwhelmed, and quietly unraveling while being asked to help hold someone else’s life together.
The banter feels natural, the chemistry is intense, and every interaction carries emotional weight.
Sophie Andrews excels at writing characters who feel deeply human. Camden’s guilt and grief sit heavy on the page, while the moments involving Paisley are tender and quietly powerful. I read this all in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down.
Going Deep is emotional, steamy, and surprisingly gentle in how it handles loss & healing. It is the kind of story that reminds you why redemption arcs hit so hard and why Sophie Andrews continues to be an auto read author for me.
