Description
Moose loves stuffies so much, he makes them himself. He’s even turned his sewing shed into a shop, where he sells them to everyone in the neighborhood. They’re cute and tasteful, with just the right amount of SQUISH! Everyone loves them, including Mabel, a neighborhood girl who also makes stuffies. Yet Mabel's stuffies are SO over the top—bedazzled, with hats, shoes, scarves, crowns. Truth be told, Moose is not a fan. But when his orders start to multiply and he can’t keep up with the demand, Moose must do something very hard: ask for help...from Mabel!
This entertaining and astute picture book from up-and-coming funny-girl creator Maddie Frost will have readers laughing while they realize that it’s okay to need help—and that sometimes, the people we think we don’t like can turn out to be our closest friends.

We loved this one! This is a cute tale of collaboration and crafts. When Moose’s stuffy business booms, he finds he’s quickly in over his antlers. But Mabel’s stuffies are different than his—too different to need her help. Not only does this story have a great message, but the illustrations are adorable. We enjoyed looking at all the fun stuffies Moose and Mabel sewed.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!
I love it!
It's simple, heartwarming, and also relatable.
We have specific wish and vision for ourself, and sometimes it's easier to work by ourselves.
However, just like a famous quote, alone we can walk faster, together we can walk further.
It's nice so have someone to share our goals and vision.
Recommended for children above 5 years old, especially could help to bonding time with parents during storytime/bedtime story

Adorable, illustrations were perfect for the story. I love a book where they story helps to teach a Leason to the reader. My son even pointed out that moose was being mean to Mabel and that he needed to apologize before we got to that part in the book. As a mom I loved at the end where moose admitted that he liked having Mabel's help and she had good ideas. We had a great conversation about how sometimes we don't think we want or need help but if we just give it a try, we will be surprised by the outcome. Only problem is now my son wants to see if we can make his drawing creations into a stuffie just like the lima bean.... Thank you for letting us share your story!
A beautifully illustrated picture book with a charming story that will have you laughing out loud. If your little one loves stuffed animals or needs to learn a lesson about sharing and collaboration you need to get them this book immediately. Just remember not to get "in over your antlers!"

This was a super cute read that will appeal to so many stuffie loving kiddos! Maddie Frost's charming character are as adorable as the stuffies they make.
Thank you NetGalley for this copy! What a cute idea for a book! Love how you can show that sometimes we all need help, and that working together is a great way to reach our dreams.
Most kids love stuffies so this is a cute little book.
Moose and Mabel loved stuffies. Moose loved stuffies so much he decided to make a stuffie stand.
This book reflects on how one can get overwhelmed and that it is okay to ask for help and maybe even a beautiful friendship will emerge from receiving it.
Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC copy of this wonderful children's book

Huge thanks to the author and Astra Publishing House for the advanced copy of The Stuffie Stand!
This book has to be the cutest story I have ever read with my 11 year old. She is (and of course me too) way older than the age group this book was intended for, but we both enjoyed it so much! The story was sweet, and it teaches a lesson about entrepreneurship and about how it is ok to ask for help sometimes. I also enjoyed how it pointed out that even though we are different, we still can have fun together and be kind and helpful to each other. The illustrations were absolutely adorable!
I highly recommend this book! My daughter asked me to get her a physical copy once it's released!
The Stuffie Stand by Maddie Frost is going to be one of my FAVORITE picture books! I LOVED reading this! The story, characters, their feelings and thoughts were so relatable! I related so much with Moose, as someone who likes to work by myself, in a very specific way and struggle to ask for help. I think all of us Mooses require a Mabel in our lives!
Absolutely adorable with such wonderful colors and character designs. I want to buy every stuffie shown in the book! I think this would make such a great and fun gift for kids and adults too who love stuffies. I enjoyed this so much! Thank you for making a story like this!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The book was fun to read with my 6 year old and his 3 stuffies. He was able to read it out loud and comprehend the story which is huge! Highly recommend for beginner readers!

This was such a fun read! My 4 year old loved it, and has wanted it read every night since the first time I read it. I loved how it showed that 1) burn out happens and you should not overwork yourself, and 2) that it's okay to ask for help. We talked about Moose's facial expressions and how he might be feeling through the entire book.

Adorable book with a simple message. The illustrations reminded me of vintage Schoolhouse Rock videos. I would recommend this book to parents and school librarians for their collections.
Thank you Net Galley and Astra Publishing House for this preview of The Stuffie Stand for an honest review of the book.
My children and I read this book while they where home from school on a snowy day. Each of us gave this book a 5/5 stars. Moose was such a crafty little moose who enjoys making stuffies for friends/customers. Moose kept taking on more and more order until he couldn't keep up and was exhausted. With the help of a girl named Mabel they were able to work as a team and lessen Mooses load. I think this would be the perfect book for crafty children ages 4-8. I also think The Stuffie Stand teaches a good lesson about asking for help when you cant keep going.

We loved this one! If you have a kiddo who loves stuffies then this is for you. I am however worried that now I will have to help my 6 year old open a stuffie stand. Cute and quick read!
