Description

He’s a secret wrapped in sin—power in every step, temptation in every breath.

He moves through danger like it belongs to him. I should be afraid.

Instead, I ache.

Everything around us is a threat, but the moment he touches me, the fear disappears.

His mouth is a promise. His body a weapon.

And I don’t know which one will break me first.

I tell myself this is survival—that the heat between us is just adrenaline, a temporary madness.

But when he looks at me like I’m the only thing that matters, the truth cuts deep. This isn’t madness.

It’s obsession.

Need.

And it’s already too late to stop.

He’s my temptation.

The mistake I’ll make again and again.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant delivers a sensual, high-stakes story of magic, danger, and the kind of love that dares the dark to strike in the Skye Druids series.

He’s a secret wrapped in sin—power in every step, temptation in every breath.

He moves through danger like it belongs to him. I should be afraid.

Instead, I ache.

This is another amazing book by this author. The story doesn't skip a beat and kept me eagerly turning pages. Rowen appears gentle, quiet and somewhat unlikely to fight a serious evil. Appearances can be deceiving. The celestial segment of the story left my jaw hanging. Such a great read! Highly recommend.

Rowen is a Salish Druids and has been invited to visit London. She immediately realizes something isn’t right. She runs but soon comes upon an injured man. Mason has been investigating his parents death but his cover is blown and now he has the London Druids after him. Rowen and Mason travel to Skye where his sister and best friend are residing. They summon healers and Mason is better. There is an evil presence that is trying to get Rowen onto their side. Rowen is stronger than she knows and must battle her way back to Mason even though she only gives him one night. Mason has fallen for Rowen and decides it’s better to be near her than without her at all. Rowen realizes that she is made for love but is it too late? This was so hard to write. I didn’t want to give anything away. We are back of Skye with the people trying to save their kind. A little steamy. Action. Mystery. * VOLUNTARILY READ AND REVIEWED FOR NETGALLEY *

Mason! I didn’t expect to have Ferne’s brother and Carlyle’s best friend so soon. I immediately clicked with him and Rowen from the first page. This story was perfectly paced and advanced the storyline to another level as the ultimate battle looms. I think this is one of my favorite books by the author. I’m going to enjoy seeing a lot more of Rowen.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

With the regular cast of characters from Skye and the ongoing threats (from London, Edinburgh, and Skye itself) the saga of good versus evil continues in Kiss of Skye with the introduction of a new character, Rowen. Edie and the Ancients are trying to get Rowen to join their side of the conflict. Rowen considers their offer. There’s romance and danger. There is talk of asking the Reapers and Dragon Kings to join the Skye Druids in their fight against evil. The Epilogue introduces an unnamed woman without giving any indication of who she is or what side she is on. Will there be romance or evil in her future? I’m truly enjoying this ongoing series about the Skye Druids. Looking forward to upcoming novels that will further the plot.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

The final battle is drawing near and there are a couple new additions to the Skye Druids - Rowan and Mason.

Mason was not sure how he would be received as he has been keeping his sister and best friend pushed out of his life for years. He is determined to find out how is parents died which has put a bullseye on him. When he is attacked and manages to get away, he is fatally wounded. Fortunately, Rowan is drawn to the area where Mason is about to collapse and saves his life.

From there, they travel to see the Skye Druids and there is so much drama and secrets revealed that I could not put this book down. Most of the previous couples are included so we get updates on them, along with Erith's visit. I loved how Rowan found out that she wasn't really beneath Mason (who is an Earl) and they were kind of on equal footing.

Can't wait for the next book!

Things heat up with London Druids, Edinburgh Druids, Skye, false Ancients, Beth and Edie. So many converging points....and with it all, Rowen meets Mason, Ferne's brother. Wonderful to read Mason's story. Another great story in the series. Hoping the next story sees some surgency toward the epic battle coming! 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Read the mesmerizing and spellbinding paranormal story. When Rowen sneaks away from the London Druid meeting, she meets Mason who is fatally wounded and gets him to safety. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and another must read riveting romance story by the phenomenally talented author, Donna Grant.

Donna Grant does it again! Kiss of Skye, the eighth installment in the Skye Druids series, is a breathtaking blend of romance, danger, and ancient magic that completely swept me away.
Rowan, hailing from the serene San Juan Islands, is strong, intuitive, and quietly courageous. When she discovers Mason—gravely injured in London—their unexpected connection forms a powerful bond that draws them both into the heart of the Skye Druids. Mason, from the UK, carries both physical and emotional scars, and watching him heal alongside Rowan is deeply satisfying. Their chemistry feels destined yet hard-earned.
Grant’s description of the Isle of Skye is pure magic. The land itself feels alive—pulsing with power, magic woven into every blade of grass and every trembling leaf. You don’t just read about Skye—you feel it.
Meanwhile, the intrigue in Edinburgh ratchets up the tension. After Willa and Luke piece together Beth’s routine and attempt to seize the Book of Spells, they walk straight into a trap—because Beth was ready. The twists surrounding Beth and George’s secret dealings with the London Druids add layers of suspense.
This installment delivers everything I love about the Skye Druids series: sweeping romance, layered loyalties, hidden agendas, and a setting so vivid it feels enchanted. Donna Grant masterfully balances heart-pounding action with tender emotional depth. I couldn’t put it down—and I’m already craving the next visit to Skye!

The Skye Druids continue! This is Mason and Rowen’s story. When Rowen is visiting the London Druids, against her better judgement, her intuition leads to saving a devastatingly handsome man from death! In so doing so she makes some dangerous enemies! If you haven’t read this series, you need to! Never a boring moment!

Donna Grant never fails to impress me. Her imagination is extraordinary, and the magical worlds she creates are truly breathtaking. Just when I think she can’t possibly surprise me again, she releases a book that takes the story in a direction I would never have anticipated. Honestly, I’m grateful these ideas live in her mind and not mine—and even more grateful that she shares them with readers. Her novels provide hours of entertainment and always leave me eager for her next release.
In Kiss of Skye, the twists and revelations kept me fully immersed from start to finish. The London Druids are extending their influence toward America, and I can only wonder who else they’re trying to pull into their organization. Thomas’s actions continue to prove he won’t be satisfied until the London Druids rule all. What is revealed in Kiss of Skye left me speechless—he is a frighteningly determined Druid who does not handle failure well.
Ferne’s brother, Mason, is in serious danger. Forced to fight for his life, he goes on the run after being cornered by the London Druids. His fortune shifts when he crosses paths with Rowen, an American Druid who was invited to meet with the London Druids. She’s escaping for reasons of her own, and their flight is packed with suspense and shocking surprises. A great deal comes to light during the twelve-hour drive.
Once they reach the Isle of Skye, the story intensifies even further. Friends and families reunite, and long-held secrets surface as they prepare to stand against their enemy. Rowen is far more than she believes herself to be—far more than I ever imagined—and her journey is a wild ride I won’t soon forget. Thankfully, Mason is ready to stand by her side, if she’ll let him.

I am a huge fan of anything Donna Grant writes. In this book Mason is Ferne’s brother and has been in London trying to find out who had their parents killed. Rowan has come over at the request of the London druids. Lucky for Mason, Rowan was in the right place when he needed her. Great story that continues the situation going on with the Skye druids. You do need to have read the other Sky druids books to get the most out of the story as there are a lot of things going on that could be confusing if you haven’t. I loved it!

Thank you to Netgalley for this arc

Donna Grant has done it again. Just when you think the world of the Skye Druids has shown you everything it has to offer, Kiss of Skye sweeps in, flips the board, and reminds you that in Grant’s universe, imagination is not merely a tool—it’s a force of nature.

The eighth installment in the series delivers a delicious mix of emotional chaos, the deep connection of found family, all wrapped in a paranormal romance that refuses to let you breathe for too long. From the very first chapter, the tension is palpable, the stakes unmistakable, and the sense that something big—something inevitable—is about to unfold.

Fans of the series have likely been waiting, somewhat impatiently, for Mason Crawford’s story ever since the mysterious rift between him and his sister Ferne surfaced. Let’s just say the anticipation was not misplaced. Mason finally steps into the spotlight, and he does so in the most dramatic fashion possible—because in this world, characters rarely meet under pleasant circumstances.

Rowen Thornevale, a druid from the San Juan Isles, arrives in London expecting diplomacy and discussion. Instead, she finds unease thick in the air. When an ambush erupts and Mason barely escapes with his life, the two find themselves fleeing the same danger—an unlikely alliance forged in the middle of chaos. Their escape leads them, somewhat improbably and very fatefully, all the way to the Isle of Skye.

And when destiny decides to meddle, resistance is mostly a formality.

Once on Skye, the story expands in all directions. Threads from previous books tighten, long-simmering tensions rise to the surface, and the action escalates with satisfying momentum. Mason’s reunion with Ferne adds emotional depth, old wounds are reopened, and secrets—because there are always secrets—begin to surface. Meanwhile, Rowen discovers that the island awakens something within her, a quiet but undeniable sense that she has arrived somewhere she was always meant to be.

Unfortunately, dark forces seem to agree.

Rowen is a wonderfully compelling heroine—observant, intuitive, and guided by instincts she’s only beginning to understand. As the layers of her past and her power unfold, it becomes clear that her presence on Skye might shift far more than her own destiny. The fragile balance between the druid communities may hinge on what she chooses to do next.

Woven between battles, revelations, and creeping danger is a romance that unfolds with patience and emotional weight. Mason and Rowen’s connection isn’t rushed; it grows in the quiet moments between crises, shaped by trust, vulnerability, and the slow realization that some feelings are simply too powerful to deny.

Of course, this being a Donna Grant novel, the road to that realization is paved with twists, tension, and just enough danger to keep everyone on their toes.

Kiss of Skye is immersive, thrilling, and emotionally rich—another spellbinding chapter in a series that continues to expand its world with confidence and flair. And with the possibility of the Skye Druids seeking help from their allies looming on the horizon, one thing feels certain:

This story is far from over.

And frankly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Skye Druids!!

Mason Crawford has been following through on his own agenda for a while now but the London Druids finally caught on.

He hadn’t anticipated a pretty American with grit and determination—and entirely too much bravery.

The birds were linked to wisdom, prophecy, and the connection between the living and the Otherworld.

Rowen is one of the Salish Druids from America. As soon as she wanks in the door of the London headquarters she knows something is not right.

How could I possibly explain how seeing this land touches my soul and makes me whole?” she whispered. “It’s like…” “You’re home.”

This series always hits new highs with every installment. We finally understand what has been going on. At least some of it. Can’t wait for more.

The Skye Druids are still holding strong, even with all the underhanded scheming by their various enemies.

Thank heavens, there's always plenty of introductions and some kind of recap of events whenever a new person makes their way to the Skye Druids. I needed that to be up to speed again.

The action and intrigue started out fast and fierce. Rowen and Mason had a very intense first meeting and they operated on pure adrenaline for a while. But after they had a chance to settle down, those scared and stressful feelings had morphed into an equally intense attraction. Rowen had a difficult path to discovering her purpose and accepting the bond with Mason. It felt like she had just started to tap into the true potential of her magic and I do hope that she, and the other Druids, will get a chance to fully display their impressive power. Mason had a very heartwarming reunion with his sister and friend, and he thrived on Skye once he was done with pretending.

With this book, another piece was slowly added to the convoluted conundrum facing the Druids. While Mason and Rowen have found love, and the Druids are enjoying a small respite after some nail-biting battles, we are far from any kind of resolution. There were some vague hints as to what might be coming, and I am eagerly anticipating an epic showdown somewhere down the line.

Kiss of Skye is book 8 in the Skye Druids series and I definitely recommend that you read the series in order, otherwise you will miss too much world building. If you can, read some of the other books that all form part of this interconnected Dark World.

Thank you to Netgalley and the author for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
