I absolutely loved this book. 5 stars without hesitation.

The way the curse is used in this story felt so fresh and honestly unlike any vampire story I’ve read before. It adds this deeper, almost haunting layer to what it means to be a vampire, and I was completely pulled in by it. It’s not just about blood and immortality, it’s about memory, identity, and the weight of what you carry.

The connection between the two main characters had me hooked from the start. There’s an intensity to their relationship that feels emotional, a little dark, and honestly a bit consuming in the best way. Watching them navigate everything tied to the curse, their pasts, and each other added so much depth.

I also really appreciated the atmosphere. It has this eerie, lingering feeling that stays with you even when you’re not reading. It just worked so well with the tone of the story.
