I must confess that I haven't finished this book, but have read enough to know that I will keep on every day until it's finished. It's a program of easy and quick little steps to increase your happiness, and all that comes with it. It's full of commonsense advice to help those who may need a push towards being happy and thinking positive thoughts. Having often dismissed this kind of book in the past, I can see the benefit of this help now as I've been a bit down while recovering from a complicated surgery. The advice here makes you think more positively, without any mumbo-jumbo or religious angle. I would definitely recommend this to others who might need a nudge in the direction of happiness and positivity.

Quick, 4-5 minutes a day to happiness, in easy to assemble steps.
That elusive happiness feeling can be trained into you. I know this because I've heard it from the many TV self help gurus, and many long worded books. I practiced what they preached for about three days before going back to my I don't have time for it lifestyle. A lifestyle often tainted with shadows of unhappiness, stress, worry and insomnia. So I'm not good at committing time to improving this damaging issue. I'm not completely depressed, I just want to be happier. I saw this book with the under 4 minutes a day and jumped.
Four minutes a day, that is it. You take a few simple mini steps that take just four minutes to complete and go about your day. Then once you absorb one into your being you replace it with the next step to true happiness, each week building on the past. I went beyond any previous record for practicing good happiness building habits, I have stuck with this for 3 weeks. Three weeks and I am more at ease, already. It is so simple, and addictive now. I want the good feeling I get from following the authors suggestions. I'm sticking with the program. So, fellow readers if you are in search of more happiness give it a try, it's only 4 minutes a day.

Simply put, this was a gem. Chock full of common sense wisdom and easy to follow exercises, this book is a must, for those who are on the verge of burning out, and moving on. Sometimes, you just need to refresh and reboot your perception(s) about your work life, and life in general.
