This entertaining and educational book has been a hit with my library reading groups and the reading circle at my church. With children aged 5-10, it kept each child engaged. Parent feedback was positive; the children told their parents and older siblings about each animal. The book is part of a larger group of animals from different countries so now I need to get copies of the other books to share too. I'm loaning my copies to my friends who teach 3rd and 4th grade children. Definitely a winner with everyone.

This was very well illustrated. It really pops! I love the variety of unique animals represented. I think this is a great preschool book.

This is a very cute alphabet book that has delightful illustrations of animals and their environments. Just a few of these critters include a dormouse, a hedgehog, a Norway lemming, a puffin, a wildcat and, of course, many more as there are 26 in all.

What gives this title a bit more is that there are simple hide and seek activities for each entry. This adds a fun element to this book.

I think this one will make a welcome addition to family bookshelves.

Hide and Seek Alphabet With European Animals invites young readers on a playful journey across Europe while learning their ABCs. Each letter introduces a new animal, from the Arctic Fox and Bullfinch to the Puffin and Zander Fish. The book does more than simply name animals. It turns each page into a small mystery as children are asked to search the illustrations to find where each animal is hiding.

Great text and wonderful illustrations make this a marvelous read for elementary age students. The information about the different animals is a big plus. The hide and seek does make it more appropriate for an individual child or a smaller group story time as a larger group would miss spotting the animals.
