I have recently come back to this author with this new series, and I was happy to read this third book in the series focusing on Scotty, Mace, and Blake. While my favorite is the focus more on the mystery/suspense, I didn’t mind too much that this is almost more about the romance since there was enough of the former to keep me glued to the page. Sometimes I was a little annoyed when other characters’ stories were integrated into the storyline, but that’s fine since I was still entertained. LOL! I quite enjoyed this latest installment in the series, and I would be happy to read the next book. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

4.25 - While the story was mostly about the team of Scotty, Blade, and Mace, you also learned more of the battle raging in the world. You see the love and loyalty of family, and how far they would go to save a loved one.

This was a book I have been waiting for impatiently. It was so worth the wait, this is Scotland, Blade and Mace's book. I love we get some back story on Scotty. We get some insight into their friendship and how the guys really feel about her. As well as how she feels about them, while also getting to read about a few other characters, I loved getting to read about Ares and seeing Harvester as a g-ma. I highly recommend and can't wait for more.

Oh man!! I was so stoked to read about Scotty’s, Mace’s, and Blade’s story. I was curious to see how Larissa would make it work and was happily surprised! This is a MFM romance that was touching, a little spicy, and had plenty of action to keep me entertained. It’s told in multiple POVs (which I love).

I love that Scotty (and the guys) would do anything for each other, especially if it helped them to heal and not die. I loved her strength, loyalty, and her vulnerability she showed with the guys.

I liked seeing into Mace and Blade’s minds, see what they’re thinking and feeling. I also loved how they were so loyal to each other, they always took the other into account.

I do wish we delved a little more into the guys’ past familial issues, just for more character development, but it didn’t take away from the story since we do know some from the previous books.

All in all, this was a great 4.5 star read and I can’t wait to read the next book!!

This is a very good read. Scotty, Mace and Blade have a unique bond. Steamy hot and fast paced it's a real page turner. Their journey through lust, heartbreak and pain is mind blowing. The series.as a whole is addictive.

Scotland or Scotty is the daughter of the horsemen of the apocalypse named War. She is a warrior and is teammates with Mace and Blade. They are two demons and her best friends. They are part of Dart which is Demonic Activity Response Team. She announces that she wants to lose her virginity but the three of them took a pact to not have a romantic relationship so they can stay friends. While on assignment one of them is gravely injured and must go to the Underground Hospital. Then the other is left with Scotty and their pact goes out the window when she must have sex with him to save his life. It almost destroys their friendship until they come up with an idea. Will Scotty have to choose between her two best friends and end up losing one?

I read the Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series and loved it, so I was really looking forward to reading this book as well as the others in this series since this contains some of the kids of the characters from those series. This sounded like it would be fun and I was right. This is the 3rd book in this series, and I did read the first book, Legacy of Temptation but I still need to read the 2nd book.

Scotty, Blade and Mace are friends, and this book is about them. They grew up together and all wanted to be a part of DART. I liked getting a bit of a backstory as to how they became friends and what's been going on since the last book in the Demonica series I read. It was nice seeing some of the old characters as well.

As with most of Larissa Ione's books, this has quite a bit of action and romance and I expected that, but it also has a lot of world building into what's going on in this world now. They are a part of DART which is the Demonic Activity Response Team.

Because demons were set free years ago, there's a chance that the horsemen's mother, Lilith was also free and if that were the case, the offspring of the horsemen were in danger. Mother dearest was not maternal at all and would want her children to suffer.

Scotty and some others were searching for Harvester's blood so they could bring back her grandma. There was a lot going on with this and a lot of secrets were revealed as the story unfolded as to what happened to Harvester.

But when the 3 of them get sent on a mission to hunt down a Wendigo, things don't go as planned. And the three of them will never be the same. Between the angels, demons, and trying to bring Harvester back from the dead, there's so much going on. Mace, Scotty and Blade have to find a way to get through what is happening between them and fix things but they have no idea how to do that.

Having read the Lords of Deliverance series and getting to know the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, it was fun to see their kids getting their own stories.

Loved being back in this world. It’s been a minute since the second book and I missed these characters and this world. I am a huge fan of this series, the original and spinoff, so I jumped at the chance to read this one early.
I really enjoyed this story from start to finish and the dynamic between Scotty, Blade, and Mace. I love these characters and everything they bring to the story.
Their mission to find the wendigos is so intense and as a result something happens that threatens to change them all forever.
I love how the author handles that and their relationship and how it all turns out between them. It was awesome!
Very entertaining book set in such an interesting world with wonderful characters.
Now I am looking forward to Legacy of Gabriel up next.

Legacy of Desire had me completely hooked. Scotty, Mace, and Blade bring a level of tension that feels constant and inevitable-the kind that sits under every scene just waiting to explode.

Scotty is strong, messy, and real in a way I loved, and the dynamic between her, Mace, and Blade is layered with loyalty, history, and so much emotional conflict. This is a why choose / MFM romance that actually delivers on both the connection and the spice.

Fast-paced, emotionally charged, and addictive from start to finish. I could not put this down.

Man I love this author! I love this series also. This is Scotty, Mase and Blades story. Lots of action, romance, and suspense. The trio make a fine fighting team against demons and anything else that comes there way. But the swore an oath not to let romance into there friendship. Until a critical battle calls for extreme measures
