Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing this ARC. All opinions are my own.

This fun and playful story follows a group of friends, each with their own unique talents and interests. After meeting a fairy who gifts them a special charm that rings whenever there’s trouble, they officially become the Wildflower Girls (from a previous story).

In this adventure, the girls set out to discover why the unicorns are losing their magic. As they search for answers, they must work together, using their individual strengths to solve the mystery. Along the way, the story highlights an important message: everyone has something that makes them special.

A charming tale about friendship, teamwork, and embracing what makes you unique.

Thank you so much to MamaBear Books and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

The Wildflower girls are called by their fairy friend on a big mission to help the unicorns in Unitopia. They’ve suddenly started to lose their magic and only this special group of friends can help figure out the cause and help the unicorns.

What a beautiful book, I throughly enjoyed reading this, it was so magical and really lovely. It’s the perfect mystery fantasy book for children, you have a great group of friends who are all so different to each other but love that about each other. We have the magical element with the unicorns and the fairy. You have a fun mystery to solve along with the girls and then lastly the sweetness of the magical coming back as the problems are solved.

The grayscale illustrations were really beautiful, I loved seeing the girls showcasing their very own personalities. We got to see all the magic that was being talked about, the unicorns, the gnomes/gonks, I also loved the added touches on the pages showing the wildflowers which was really a perfect addition.

I always enjoy books of this nature, they have the sweetest characters that you meet and the truest friendship that is formed, not just with the friends but with the magical characters you meet along the way. This is going to be a very loved book by a lot of readers, it truly is a magical tale that gives you such a sweet adventure.

We read The Wildflower Girls over spring break, and it ended up being one of those books that pulled all three of us in. My twins are just stepping into chapter books, and this was only our third one but they were hooked from the very beginning.

One of their favorite parts was the charm the fairy gives the girls for when they’re in trouble. My twins had so many ideas about what they would ring it for, and it turned into this adorable little game every night: “If we had the charm, we’d use it for…” It made the story feel interactive and magical in a way that only kids can pull off.

They also loved how each girl in the story had a different ability or talent. It reminded them of their own friend group... everyone different, everyone special, everyone bringing something to the table. And the book really highlights how working together makes the adventure possible. That message landed beautifully with them.

The pacing was perfect for first graders. Easy to follow, short chapters, and illustrations that kept them engaged without overwhelming the story. We got through it quickly, but not because it was simple because they kept asking for “one more chapter.”

And the ending? They were thrilled. They’ve already decided they’re telling their teachers about it when they go back to school, which tells you everything you need to know about how much they enjoyed it.

A sweet, magical, teamwork‑filled chapter book that’s perfect for early readers... and for parents who love watching their kids fall deeper in love with stories.

This was such a cute story and the illustration was beautiful. I actually would love a physical; copy for my girls. I had a fun time reading about their bracelets and how it lights up when there is trouble and I got to see the unicorns and feel like a little girl again. Great book.

*I received a free DRC in exchange for an honest review*

This charming, magical, sweet children's book is full of the kind of life lessons you'd want your sweet ones to learn early: the power of friendship and collaboration, the value of arts and sports and learning, the empowerment of creativity, and above all, how important it is to be true to yourself. The Wildflower Girls learn all of these things on their quest to save unicorn magic. Along the way, they make new friends and solve a mystery, bringing back the color and beauty of the unicorns' home.

This was such a cute story filled with magic and important lessons for young kids. It's all about being yourself and how it's okay to be different from others or your friends. The true you is the best you.

As I was reading, I was thinking to myself that this would be such a cute series for young readers. So I was super excited to see a sneak peek of the Wildflower Girls' next adventure!

We read this with our two kids (ages 3 and 5) and it was a genuine hit with both of them. What struck me was how well it balanced accessibility, our 5-year-old was able to participate in the reading, while our 3-year-old stayed completely engaged in the story. That sweet spot is hard to find in early chapter books, and this one nails it.

What makes the book shine is its cast of friends. Each girl brings something different to the group, and the story shows that those differences are exactly what make them powerful together. It's a genuinely sweet message delivered through adventure rather than lecture, kids absorb it naturally as the plot unfolds.

The little illustrations are a lovely bonus, bringing the world to life. Thanks, NetGalley and MamaBear Books for the early read!

A delightful read for fans of friendship, fantasy, and a little bit of wonder. Highly recommended for early chapterbook readers.
