First I'd like to say thank you to NetGalley and Ten Speed Press for allowing me an advanced digital copy. Secondly, I would like to say, WOW! What a fantastic cookbook. In the age of internet and recipes at everyone's fingertips, you would think cookbooks are a way of the past, but not so with this gem. Great recipes, wonderfully displayed pages, super tips, all broken down into various lengths of prep time. Bravo. A must for our library collection.
It is simply an amazing book. It shows that in order to eat healthy, you don't have to hit the specialized store every other week and spend a fortune on superfoods, which not all food experts even agree to be a MUST for our everyday diet.
Every recipe has the timings, a bit of a story to it, the amount of servings. Almost every recipe has a beautiful photo. The instructions are clear and simple. I also found extremely helpful the alternatives that the author suggests between the recipes. This book actually encourages you to create something yourself, which I absolutely love. You actually get to know more about the food and nutrition, but the knowledge is not overwhelming, so you don't feel scared to even start inventing your own menu.
I would totally recommend this book. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. I received it for free for an honest review.
