Description
From #1 New York Times bestseller Kresley Cole comes a darkly seductive new series where immortal passion collides with ruthless power.
Beyond the mortal world lies the Skein, a realm of mythic beauty and savage desire ruled by creatures of legend. Here, vampires, witches, demons, and wolves wage war – and hunt their pleasures just as fiercely.
Now, the Accession has begun, an ancient cycle of chaos and destiny that reignites old hostilities and forges fated bonds too hot to resist.
A witch queen on the rise defies the brutal wolf king who stands in her way. But when fate twists their battlefield into a bed of temptation, sworn enemies become something far more perilous. Lovers.
A vampire princess trades her crown for freedom, only to be bound to a scarred Berserker, a man whose possessive touch both terrifies and tempts her.
An incubus spy and a cunning vampiress strike a dangerous bargain for survival, and profit, but lust becomes the one gamble neither expected.
And when a wolf and an enchantress from opposing clans dare to make peace, their forbidden attraction could doom the Skein… or spark a love that defies the gods.
Brimming with intrigue, bloody mayhem, and scorching heat, Ravenous plunges readers into the world of Immortals Untold – where magic kills, surrender triumphs, and immortal hungers can never be sated…

I honestly forgot how addictive Kresley Cole’s writing is because the second I started this, I was GONE.
This book has that really intense atmosphere where everyone feels dangerous, nobody fully trusts each other, and every conversation feels like it could either turn into murder or making out. Which obviously is exactly my thing.
The characters are all kind of messy and morally questionable in a way that made me so invested because I genuinely never knew who to trust. Every time I thought I understood someone, the book would reveal something new and suddenly I was questioning everything again.
And the tension????? insane.
Like this is one of those books where even small interactions feel charged and you can feel all the obsession, anger, attraction, and chaos simmering underneath everything. I was eating it up.
I also just really loved the atmosphere of the whole thing. It feels dark, dramatic, emotional, and slightly unhinged in the best way.
And honestly this reminded me why people get so obsessed with Kresley Cole books because once this story gets its claws into you, it does NOT let go.The tension, the pacing, the constant feeling that something terrible was about to happen… it had me hooked the entire time.
I already know this series is going to ruin my life a little bit and I’m completely okay with that. That ending though?? I actually just sat there staring at the wall for a minute afterwards because WHAT was that. I already know waiting for the next book is going to feel painful.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.
Wow. I've never read any Kresley Cole before. This book was insane. So many points of view. So many different fantastical groups. But I loved it. It was dark and spicy and so bad.

Deliciously dark and decadent, vivid and inventive, this book never lets up. I devoured it in a day despite it not being my usual style. Cole manages to keep a large cast of characters and an incredibly complex plot riveting through every page. Kudos!

Ravenous by Kresley Cole
Immortals Untold Book One
Initial thoughts when seeing all those different names on the chapters title on the contents page, I knew there was going to be a lot going on.
It took me awhile to keep track of everyone, but we got there. Long term Kresley Cole fan and this did not disappoint.
I absolutely loved this ‘darker’ Immortals After Dark adjacent world. I enjoyed all the characters we met and as we get closer to the end of this instalment, I was way too invested and the story took turns that I wasn’t ready for.
The last 25% of this book had me on the edge of seat; brought on so much emotion and I can’t wait for the rest of this series.
Preordered the audiobook can’t wait for Robert Petkoff to put this in my ears.
Thanks to NetGalley, Aria & Aries, and Kresley Cole for the ARC, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

★★★★★ 5 Stars
Kresley Cole has once again created a mesmerizing fantasy world filled with romance, danger, and unforgettable characters. Ravenous weaves together several compelling storylines, each packed with emotional depth, high stakes, and captivating chemistry.
At the heart of the story are powerful and complex characters, including Kosmina, the determined witch queen; Rune, the fierce wolf king; Voria, a rebellious vampire princess; and the scarred Berserker warrior whose fate becomes intertwined with hers. Alongside them, readers follow an ambitious vampiress, a cunning incubus spy, and star-crossed lovers from rival clans as they navigate alliances, betrayals, and the looming threat of war.
Cole masterfully balances epic fantasy with swoon-worthy romance, creating a story that is impossible to put down. The world-building is rich, the action is thrilling, and every character’s journey feels meaningful. Each storyline adds another layer to the larger conflict, making the book both exciting and emotionally rewarding.
With its compelling cast, immersive setting, and perfectly paced plot, Ravenous is a spectacular start to the Immortals Untold series. Fans of paranormal romance and fantasy will be completely engrossed from beginning to end and eagerly awaiting the next installment.
A dark paranormal romance filled with all manner of creatures? I knew this was destined for a spot on my TBR the moment I saw it.
First of all, this book was just plain fun. From the opening chapters I was completely hooked, and it never really let up. The pacing was quick, the spice level was high, and the multiple POVs kept the story moving. Every time I thought I had a handle on what was happening, another piece of the puzzle was revealed.
And can we please talk about Ditch? Because she absolutely stole the show for me. My new girl crush without question. When I looked back through my annotations, almost all of my highlights were either things Ditch said or moments involving her. Her confidence, sharp tongue, and unapologetic attitude made her such a standout character. She walked onto every page and immediately demanded attention, and honestly, I was happy to give it to her.
The world-building was another aspect I really enjoyed. There are so many different creatures, factions, and moving parts, but it never felt overwhelming. Instead, it felt like slowly watching a larger picture come into focus. As the story progressed, the connections between the characters, their motivations, and the wider world began to slot neatly into place, making each revelation feel rewarding.
My main criticism is that I wanted a little more time spent exploring the emotional fallout of some of the bigger moments. There were several major revelations and events, particularly towards the end, that I would have loved to sit with for longer. I found myself wanting to dive deeper into the characters' reactions, thoughts, and feelings because some of those developments had huge implications.
That being said, the final stretch of this book absolutely had me in a chokehold. The last 100 pages had me holding my breath, flying through chapters, and desperately needing answers. Every reveal raised the stakes, and I couldn't put it down until I knew how everything would unfold. Cannot wait for the next in the series 🖤
5⭐️ A new era of Immortals begins. Welcome to the Skein.
I’ve been reading Kresley Cole for years, so I was beyond excited to dive into her new Immortals Untold series. Returning to the world of the Immortals felt like coming home, familiar, comforting, and a reminder of why I love this universe so much.
That being said, I feel like this new series takes things to the next level. I was not ready for the emotional damage this book delivers.
We’re introduced to a new cast of characters in the Skein, a realm that feels much darker and grittier than what we’re used to. I thought I knew how this was going to play out… but I couldn’t have been more wrong!
Told through multiple POVs (and I mean A LOT!), we’ve got vampires, including a princess who is absolutely not having a good time unless she takes matters into her own hands. Berserkers fighting for immortality, with the shieldchief on the edge of achieving everything he’s fought for. The lykae king is on the brink of war with the witches but wait… has he found his fated mate?! An incubus and vampire are teaming up (because why not?!) and slowly catching feelings. A new witch has entered the Skein and it’s her way or the highway… and honestly, I’m just trying to keep up at this point. And of course, the Valkyries are having their fun in all the chaos as always.
Everything is shifting, everyone is making moves, and it all builds toward the upcoming Accession. One thing is for sure… no one is safe in this game.
And I mean NO ONE. Enter emotional damage. 🫠
You would think with so many new characters, I’d be safe from getting too attached… but nope. Somehow, I was already invested and absolutely not prepared for what was coming.
And by that, I mean heartbreaks, betrayals, and shocking plot twists that had me questioning everything I thought I knew.
After over 30 books, I really thought I knew what to expect from Kresley Cole… but she still manages to completely surprise me.
New characters, new dangers, same obsession. I’m already desperate to see what happens next.

Morally questionable characters seem to be the theme for this whole book - and I'm here for it!
In a world where no one trusts anyone, probably not even themselves, then what are you to do? The dark atmosphere within the book was gripping, and tension galore! Every character felt dark and dangerous, and just when I had it sorted in my head, there was a flip and I was left questioning everything I thought I had read and knew, but yet it made sense.
I'm a huge fan of Kresley's writing, having read probably ten books in the IAD series. I was really excited to read something a little different from her but still somewhat adjacent to IAD. Ravenous did not disappoint! It has all the staples I love about her writing while introducing new characters and conflict. Loved being in the skien and experiencing so many different types of immortals – it really felt different to a lot of the romantasy I've been reading at the moment. Definitely one to add to your TBR.
Already looking forward to the next book in the series!
A lush, visceral exploration of multiple mythological beings in a shared world loosely based on Norse mythology with plenty of others mixed in, All the characters are interesting and have their own motivations, goals, and stakes in the multiple conflicts coming to a head in this time of turmoil. Huge fascinating, I eagerly await the next book.

As a longtime fan of Kresley Cole, who I've been collecting for almost twenty years, I was incredibly excited to receive an ARC of Ravenous. It has been a long wait for a brand-new series, and it absolutely lived up to the anticipation.
Kresley Cole once again proves why she is one of the best writers in paranormal romance. Ravenous delivers everything fans could hope for: a richly imagined world, unforgettable characters, dangerous politics, powerful magic, and the intense chemistry she's known for. The Skein is beautifully crafted, filled with vampires, witches, wolves, demons, and immortal rivalries that make every chapter feel gripping and unpredictable.
The multiple storylines are expertly woven together, each couple bringing their own unique dynamic while contributing to the larger conflict surrounding the Accession. The enemies-to-lovers tension, forbidden romance, and high-stakes battles create the perfect balance of action and emotion. Every character feels layered and compelling, making it impossible not to become invested in their journeys.
The pacing never lets up, with twists, intrigue, and plenty of suspense keeping the pages turning. While this is only the beginning of the Immortals Untold series, it lays a fantastic foundation for what promises to become another unforgettable world from Kresley Cole.
For fans who have missed Kresley Cole's storytelling, Ravenous is well worth the wait. It's bold, addictive, immersive, and leaves you eager for the next instalment. I cannot wait to see where this series goes next.

I've never read this author before and now I am kicking myself! This was a fabulous read!
It was spicy but it also had a fantastic plot!
Witches, wolves, vamps, demons, beserkers, this book had it all!
There was humour, violence, treachery and it was dark and had my heart in my throat!
Meera and Lowell Nightclaw were my utter faves alongside Lia and Arcto, I was rooting for them both. But I got my heart broken! Cross fingers that changes!
Although Ditch, who was inherently evil, was also a favourite of mine! Her sass and banter was very amusing!
“A wolf? Why meet with those moonatics when we can war with them?”
I cannot believe that ending! Now I really need book 2! When is this?!
A dark paranormal fantasy? Sign me up. 💁🏻♀️
This was full of multiple POV's, intriguing world building, hilarious banter and also devastating heartbreaks.
Witch's, vampires, werewolves, sorceri, demons and more, with hellish creatures added into the mix.
The Accession is coming.
Tensions are flying, plots are being schemed, mate bonds are clicking into place and causing steaming tension as well as heartbreak.
This was plot heavy, with multiple things happening at once across different territories that just made it that much more enjoyable to read!
An ending like that will have you neeeeeeeding book two. 👀
