Description
Magic is brewing.
A storyteller in search of a story. A healer in need of hope. A town looking for a fresh start. And the magic that binds them together.
Popular storyteller Sunny Callaway is known for writing captivating human-interest stories, but lately she’s having trouble writing anything after a devastating diagnosis and a painful breakup. When a surprise discovery leads her to a small town fighting for survival after the closing of its tea factory, she finds family she hadn’t known and a story that will change her life forever.
Tea shop owner Nova Frances Clark has an old soul, a healer’s heart, and a big secret. Although her special chamomile tea blends can heal minor ailments, she’s at a loss on how to help save her hometown. When her long-lost cousin Sunny arrives for a visit, it sets into motion a dramatic revitalization plan, finally giving Nova hope for the future.
As they attempt to save the town, Sunny and Nova learn to trust the magic that comes from opening up to each other, that tea is best when it’s shared with those you love, and that the most meaningful stories come from the heart.

Many thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's for the opportunity to read The Magic of Chamomile Cottage by Heather Webber. Ms. Webber never disappoints. This was another magical, heartwarming story from one of my favorite authors...
Do you believe in magic and coincidences?
I know I do and oh how I enjoyed this beautiful story between Sunny and her new found cousin Nova.
The love, warmth, secrets and mystery are well detailed as we sip and learn from many a cuppa together.
This is a truly uplifting, fun book with something for everyone and it it definitely not a coincidence that I was able to have tea with these
wonderful women at the cottage!
Thank you to @NetGalley and to @St.Martins Press for this ARC and allowing me to provide my own review after reading.
I really enjoyed reading this it had that the magic element that I was hoping for from the description and enjoyed getting to learn about this world and go on the journey with the characters. Heather Webber does a great job in writing this and making it so that the characters were believable and the readers wanted to keep reading. It worked well in the genre and was glad that everything connected well
A delightful read from beginning to end! The gentle pacing gave me time to truly enjoy the enchanting world, while the charming cast made every chapter a pleasure. If you're looking for a relaxing fantasy with plenty of heart, this is an excellent choice.
This is the best Heather Webber story yet. I loved the setting in a small town. The mystery and secrets of family kept me engaged and wanting more page by page. The friendship of Nova and Sunny is a true one. To have a friend and family around you is priceless. The bird stories and tea stories surrounded the page as well. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC it was a good one!
Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for providing me with an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
This was one of the most exciting ARCs I have ever received, and I was absolutely thrilled to be selected to read it. As a longtime Heather Webber fan, my expectations were incredibly high. and somehow, she exceeded every one of them. The Magic of Chamomile Cottage is now my favorite Heather Webber novel.
From the very first page, I was completely transported to the charming Southern town of Woodnote. Heather Webber has such a gift for creating settings that feel alive. I could practically hear each character's deep Southern accent through the pages, and every character, right down to their wonderfully unique names, felt instantly familiar. The moment someone appeared on the page, I felt like I had known them my whole life.
At the heart of the story is the cozy tea shop that serves as the soul of the community, bringing together friendships, families, and generations of stories. If I could choose any fictional town to call home, it would absolutely be Woodnote. It has all the warmth and charm of a Hallmark town, filled with people who make it feel like home from the moment you arrive.
Two of my favorite tropes; found family and family secrets. Which take center stage in this novel, and Heather Webber weaves them together beautifully. I couldn't wait to unravel the mystery surrounding the Mayhew family, and every revelation came at exactly the right moment. The pacing kept me turning pages well into the night because I simply had to know what happened next.
One of my favorite elements was how each chapter opened with either a page from George Mayhew's journal or an entry from the local gossip column, Hush My Mouth. These delightful additions gave Woodnote its own rich history and personality while slowly revealing pieces of the past. I found myself looking forward to every new chapter just to read the next journal entry or bit of town gossip.
As with all of Heather Webber's books, there's a gentle thread of magic woven throughout the story. I especially loved how birds quietly guided the characters along their journeys. No one openly acknowledges the magic, but it's always there subtle, comforting, and enchanting, adding another layer of wonder to an already beautiful story.
The Magic of Chamomile Cottage is everything I love about Heather Webber's writing: heartwarming characters, small-town Southern charm, a touch of magical realism, unforgettable friendships, long-buried family secrets, and a story that wraps around your heart. This is a book I couldn't put down and one I know I'll revisit again and again.
If you're looking for a cozy, magical read filled with hope, healing, and unforgettable characters, be sure to add this one to your TBR. It was an easy five-star read and one of my favorite books of the year.

Heather Webber's southern magical realism stories are always heart- warming and touching. In her newest novel, a shattered marriage, family secrets, forbidden love, and the magic of Chamomile tisanes all collide in the efforts to save a small dying town.
I adore the way found family plays two ways here - both family discovering each other for the first time and small town neighbors becoming family to each other. The way people pitch in for each other and help when needed, as well as the descriptions of the town and the way they bring in new people all delighted me as a reader. I was pulling for both Sunny and Nova to succeed and loved how their stories pan out.
I loved it! This is a sweet, simple, magical story. The young and old and in between mix and mingle in this small town and each life is valued. The special chamomile is what drew me to this book and I'm so glad I discovered it.

This was my first book by Heather Webber, and I absolutely loved it. I was able to sink into the story right away. It is a sweet mix of everyday magic and contemporary fiction that focuses on family, community, and second chances.
The story goes back and forth between Nova, who can see what makes people sick, and Sunny, who sees visions in chamomile tea. The best part of the book is watching these two characters connect and find happiness. While I enjoyed the romance, I liked that there was a variety of sources that brought them fulfillment. The slow unfolding of family mysteries and the project of bringing the town back to life kept me turning the pages. The ending was heartfelt and wrapped up perfectly.
I can’t wait to read her other books.
Thank you NetGalley for an Advance Copy of this book.

Here I am with a dollar bill in my hand ready to enter the lottery to win a house in Woodnote. I want to win a house and meet Sunny, Nova, Granny and the other residents both long time and newly arrived. I want to visit the Woodnote Arts and Crafts Factory. and buy tea at Nova's shop.
This book is picture perfect Heather Webber. She does it again with her mystical, magical way with words.
Do yourselves a favor - make a pot of tea, snuggle under a comfy blanket, sit back and read The Magic of Chamomile Cottage. It will be time well spent.
My thanks to #NetGalley for the opportunity to early read this five star book.
