An entertaining book on querying literary agents
This is such a refreshing compilation of advice on querying. There are many books out there on the topic, but they all seem to take a dry/dull approach. Brown and Barker have created something that's actually FUN, and indeed they had me chuckling at the absolutely terrible query letters and synopses. But more importantly, I learned a lot from their revisions and analysis. (AMAZON)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There are a lot of guides telling wanna-be authors how to query to agents and publishers for an as-yet-unpublished manuscript. A lot of guides. But none quite like this one. It is a clever and unique approach to write bad query letters as demonstration of what not to do, and then rewrite in the voice of the famous dead author. (GOODREADS)
