This is quite possibly the best book I have read so far this year. I have no idea how I am going to be able to wait for the second book. PERFECT for fans of Fourth Wing that are looking to fill the void! I LOVED!

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc.
What a good dragon fantasy book! This was so much fun. Dragon racing is something new and i really enjoyed this. The racing part was exciting, intense, spice, romance, competition, trials. I loved it all! It is a page turner and perfectly paced and dang the cliffhanger!! I need the next book NOW! lol

What an absolutely gripping tale! I'm supposed to be sleeping right now but I had to see the ending and now I cannot believe I have to wait over a year for the rest!!!! It'll be worth the wait.

This book delivers exactly what it promises and then some. Dragons, racing, and romance come together in a way that feels intense, immersive, and impossible to put down.
The high-stakes racing format keeps the story moving at a fast, engaging pace. Every race feels dangerous and unpredictable, with sabotage and violence adding real tension to each moment. I found myself constantly thinking “just one more chapter” because I needed to know what would happen next.
What stood out even more was the emotional depth behind the action. The story really peels back the layers of what it means to be deeply connected to your family while still feeling the pull to forge your own path. Genevieve’s journey is not just about racing. It is about finding the courage to trust herself, even when it means going against everything and everyone she loves. That internal struggle added so much heart to the story.
And the romance… the love triangle had me completely torn. Both MMCs brought something compelling to the story, and I genuinely could not decide who I was rooting for until the very end. Now that I have finished, I have made my choice, but it was not an easy one.
If you love fast-paced romantasy with high tension, emotional stakes, and a romance that keeps you guessing, this one is absolutely worth the read.

i can't wait to see how amazing the rest of this series is, the author is so masterful with the writing, always pulling you in and making you wonder what happens next!
This was a fun return to the "Baby Dragon Cafe" world. The start of a new duology, this follows Ginny (who we know from previous books) as she defies her family in order to achieve her dream of winning the annual dragon races.
First off, I really do think you need to read the baby dragon series before this. It sets up the world building and you won't understand who the side characters are very well unless you've already read those books. However, this series has a bit more intense vibes. While the other 3 books in the baby dragon world are cozy romances, this is more of an action packed romance/romantasy. I enjoyed both the cozy vibes of the baby dragon series and the more action packed dragon racing theme in this book, and can't wait for book 2!
We follow Ginny in this book, who has always dreamed of dragon racing. In fact, it's been her families legacy for generations to enter and win the illegal dragon races. Her grandfather, father, and brother all won. However her father is super sexist and refuses to let her race, kicking her out of the house when she defies him (he sees no reason unfortunately). This leads her to a sketchy gang member named Qais, who agrees to train and house her in exchange for the monetary prize if she wins. We follow Ginny as she attempts to race her way to first place and prove that women can and do belong in the dragon races.
I loved reading Ginny's perspective. She goes from being a rich girl who has it all to a strong independent woman (although that's forced upon her, she is able to keep her life together despite her father's best efforts), and the author shows us how hard she works to achieve her goals, which is inspiring to say the least. There are some twists and turns, and a cliff hanger ending that will make you desperate the read book 2 immediately.
The writing is pretty simplistic; I especially felt this in the beginning that it felt like teenage written fanfic (I felt this way about this author's other books as well). However, this style makes it easy to read, and fast paced, and I honestly couldn't put the book down.
There are a couple of short, spicy scenes, but nothing too crazy and easy to skim over if you need. I'd say maybe 2/5 spice level.
Overall this was a great read and I'm dying to know what happens in the conclusion to this duology!
Definitely recommend to romance/romantasy readers. 4/5 stars
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Harper 360 for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I had a really fun time with this one. The dragon racing aspect kept the story fast paced and exciting, and I loved the tension and danger woven throughout the races. The bond between Genevieve and her dragon was one of my favorite parts, and I really enjoyed watching her fight to prove herself in a world that constantly underestimated her.
The romance was entertaining too, especially the love triangle because I genuinely kept going back and forth on who I preferred. While some parts of the story felt a little repetitive at times, the ending definitely pulled me back in and left me curious for the next book. Overall, this was an addictive romantasy with dragons, competition, and plenty of drama.
The ending redeemed the entire book for me! I wasn’t really connecting with it the story or the characters for the first half of the book. This book is part of an interconnected series - which I didn’t realize until I had started. I do think having some of the background on the setting and side characters would have been helpful.
Our FMC - Ginny as her friends call her - wants to compete in the dragon riders championship against her family’s wishes. She finds herself a trainer and forges ahead depending on her connection with her dragon Fang.
It’s not entirely clear early on what our FMC’s motivations are, so I didn’t entirely understand why she was making the decisions she made. But she starts to show more maturity as the trials begin and she faces increasing pressure and danger.
I loved the building tension and yearning between Ginny and her trainer Qais - and that definitely paid off!
While I expected there to be some sort of twist coming, I was still shocked and devastated by the last chapter. Now I desperately need to know what happens next!!
Thank you NetGalley and Harper 360 for the opportunity to read this as an ARC.
Thank you to the author, publishers and Netgalley for my copy of this book.
Nestled firmly in the baby dragon world this is edgier and darker and I loved it. Fast paced to keep you fully on track with the illegal Dragon Racing competitions, it was still filled with great characters and personalities. The pacing felt right, with time to delve into the characters' back stories. There are plenty of characters that you will recognise from the baby dragon series and it's great to get a peek into Ginny properly and have her own story.
The pages were sizzling at times with the steamy tension and the electricity between Ginny and the boys was sparking. It had me flip flopping between them which was a good sign.
The twist at the end has me chomping at the bit for the next book.
Genevieve is an FMC on a mission, to prove herself capable of winning the illegal Dragon Riders’ Championship, something that no female has achieved so far. Determined to succeed she is not prepared for the backlash from her family and the constraints it puts on her plans. Ultimately nothing will detract her from her goal and she is hell bent on showing up the inequality her family shows her. The bonding and training with her dragon Fang were joyful to read and brought a smile to my face whilst listening to the story.
With options limited she turns to Qais, a mysterious disgraced former dragon stable hand to train her. The training brings them closer together and she slowly pieces together his past whilst trying not to fall for him. With links to the shadowy gangs that run the illegal races and the criminal underworld, Ginny is trying to unpick how deeply Qais is involved and just where she fits into his future.

Rider of Dragons by AT Qureshi follows Ginny and her dragon, Fang, as they train to compete in a high stakes racing series, where riders risk life and limb for the glory of winning the Dragon Rider's Championship crown.
Thank you to Avon for the advance copy I received through NetGalley for review!
Heads up, I'm going to try my best to only include minor spoilers, but I feel a few will be necessary to fully explain my review so I'm marking this review for spoilers!
The concept for this book felt so unique and fun! Following dragon riders through competition, not war, felt so refreshing. The characters still have a wonderful training arc, but without the gritty, dark cloud that seems to follow so many dragon fantasies.
If you are looking for a fun, spicy read with dragons, intrigue, and high stakes racing, you'll enjoy this read!
However, there were a few things that kept me from loving this book as much as I expected to after the first chapter.
Firstly, I did feel like a few of the name choices felt mismatched. Ginny Sterling and most of her family names felt a bit anachronistic to me - almost as if they don't belong in this fantasy world - especially not with other characters like Sapphira, Zaviyar, Qais, and Anwar in play. Dragon names like Fang also gave the book a younger feel to me.
In addition, the themes of sexism and patriarchal roles felt repetitive after the first several chapters. Ginny's father was absolutely insufferable, and the way the rest of her family seemed to absolutely kowtow to his wishes as head of the family felt at odds with Ginny's decision to train with Qais, a notorious gang leader's brother, and to live with him. While the author did try to start resolving that in the end, it fell flat in my opinion, and there would need to be a lot more relationship repair done within Ginny's family for me to be fully satisfied with the series. As it stands, that sort of blatant mysogynist attitude makes this world one I don't want to hang around and spend time in- there are enough chauvinistic attitudes to deal with in real life.
Both those things made this book feel closer to a YA novel than a true adult fantasy to me, especially when paired with the casual voice and short paragraph structure throughout the novel. However, there was a fair bit of open door spice towards the final third of the book, which precludes me from recommending it to the younger readers that might enjoy this more than me.
Finally, the romantic plot lines also felt very problematic to me. Despite the fact that Ginny was trying to make a name for herself as a strong woman and a fierce competitor, she enters the training relationship with Qais at a severely disadvantaged position. Their starting point felt less like forced proximity and closer to an incredibly unhealthy dynamic to me. Further, I had a hard time getting to know or like Qais, because every time I felt any shred of interest from Ginny towards him, it was immediately contrasted with Zaviyar, and never in his favor. Perhaps this will be remedied in book 2, but the cliffhanger ending left us solidly in the middle of a nasty, busted love triangle.
Overall, it's a solid plot that was extremely entertaining and fun to experience, and I did enjoy it as a guilty pleasure read. I think I will likely continue the series (I believe it will be a duology?) because I do think the issues I have with the world and the story plot points could be resolved by the end. It has the potential to be the setup for a favorite series. If you want a distraction or a quick escape into a completely unique fantasy world, this could be it!
Rider of Dragons by A. T. Qureshi is an exhilarating fantasy adventure filled with rich world-building, high emotional stakes, and unforgettable imagery. The bond between characters and dragons feels vivid and compelling, adding depth to the fast-paced story. Qureshi’s writing is immersive and cinematic, making it easy to get swept away in the action and intrigue. A thrilling and beautifully crafted read for fantasy fans.
I think this book is being marketed a little wrong — I went in expecting a dark romantasy, but this felt much more like a cozy adventure romantasy. The story moves quickly and keeps you entertained with plenty of action, dragon racing, romance, and adventure.
The racing scenes were exciting at first and definitely gave the book a fun energy, though they did start to feel a bit repetitive at times. The romance and chemistry between the characters were mid, she's in love with one but lusting over the other.
If you’re looking for something fun, adventurous, romantic, and easy to fly through rather than a super dark fantasy, this is definitely worth picking up.

This was a fun and fast paced read that I quickly gobbled up. For anyone who can't get enough dragon content, you will find this an enjoyable read. The races were high stakes and it was satisfying to see how our FMC grows and improves through her training, although I would have preferred a smaller amount of more varied and lengthier races as opposed to multiple short ones.
The world created was interesting with how dragons are incorporated into the lives of dragon riding families. I do hope we get more history of how the dragons were originally domesticated and even more lore in the next book.
I was really excited to read this book and it exceeded my expectations. Dragon racing is not something I have seen before and it was fresh and exciting. You are told that dragon racing is in the Sterling bloodline but I did not fully understand Ginny's love of it until later in the book.
The bond between Fang and Ginny was different than any animal human bond I have read before and it made their connection even more special.
I will say this is marketed as a dark thrilling romantasy but it reads more like a cozy romantasy. If you go in knowing that I think you will love it. The dragon racing alone makes it worth the read.
This was such a great story and I do not know how I am supposed to wait over a year for the next book especially after that cliffhanger. The wait is going to be brutal.

This book follows Genevieve and her Dragon Fang as she defies her family's wishes to complete in very dangerous and illegal dragon races to try and be the first girl champion.
There are two male interests, the bad boy trainer and the wrong family fellow competitor. I know who I was rooting for and its not who she was was with in this book but there is always the next book that I can't being I have to wait until next year to read but at least I know when to expect it. This is just a douology so the story will finish in 2027.

This was such a unique concept for a book, I just had to read it! The story is amazing and very well thought out, I had a blast the entire time I was reading it. This is why fantasy is my favorite genre!
Overall, I enjoyed Rider of Dragons. The world building was immersive without feeling overwhelming, and I got super invested in the dragon races and all of the different details and facets of the competition. I do not say this lightly, but I would burn the world down for Fang, Ginny's dragon. I have a lot of complicated feelings regarding the relationships in the story, both romantic and familial. I both enjoyed reading about the different dynamics, but I won't lie that they also infuriated me at times.
All that said... the ending wrecked me emotionally. I can handle a cliffhanger, but this wasn't just a "to be continued" moment. This was the kind of ending that leaves you staring into the abyss feeling personally betrayed by everyone involved. I won't give any spoilers, but if you read this, prepare your heart because I am still not okay.
Even though my heart is full of rage at the ending, I am invested in Ginny and Fang and where they will end up.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Rider of dragons is a duology, set in the same world as the Baby Dragon Cafe series. I have never read those books but I don't think it necessary as this book quickly pulled me in. A few of the characters were a little annoying but overall it was a fast paced book, that left me dying to find out what happens next.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harper 360 for the ARC! Opinions are my own.

Thank you netgalley for the advance reader copy. The book started off a little slow for me. It did pick up pretty quick and got better and better as the story went on.
I really enjoyed the trails, the family drama and the training aspect.
There was a couple of let downs for with this being labeled an adult romantasy. The love triangle i wish was a little more heavy since is seemed for the first half of the book there wasnt really anything but a few mentions. It read more as a YA to me and could easily be that if just a couple scenes were slightly altered. It could also be altered just a bit more to give it that edge that a lot of adult romantasys have.
The ending was in my opinion really good. As soon as i was done i was researching book 2! I will absolutely be waiting for book 2 and will read it when it come out!
It seems that this book is a spinoff of The Baby Dragon series. I haven't read them and I had no problem with the world building.
This story took me on a roller coaster and was filled with tension : from the races, from the family feud, from the very slow-burn love triangle.
As a dragon lover, I was very happy with the worldbuilding. I particularly loved the bond between dragon and rider.
I loved how feminist Ginny is, how she fights with her family for her right to race.
Of course it ends with a cliffhanger with a major twist.
I can't wait to read The Dragon Thief.
If you love dragons and are looking for a high-stakes adventure to completely sweep you away, you need to add this book to your radar immediately. I thought The Baby Dragon Cafe series was cute and cozy, and fans will enjoy this new adventure—but be prepared, because this story leaves the quiet coffee shop behind and steps into a world that is way more thrilling, edgier, and faster-paced!
The story drops us right into an incredible underdog setup following Genevieve, a fierce protagonist determined to become the first female champion of a deadly, underground dragon racing tournament. When her traditional family completely cuts her off to stop her from competing, she forces herself to strike a desperate, high-stakes deal with a devastatingly handsome trainer from a notorious poaching gang. Locked into intense mentor-mentee proximity, she has to survive a brutal championship where sabotage and all-out violence are actively encouraged, all while trying not to fall for a man who might just emotionally betray her.
This book is a sharp, action-packed, and utterly addictive read that feels like a fantasy sports romance mixed with high-flying stakes. The absolute highlight is the beautiful, protective bond between Genevieve and her dragon, Fang, which gives the story so much genuine heart. It is a wonderfully engaging page-turner that serves up plenty of family drama, an entertaining love triangle, and a shocking cliffhanger that will leave you absolutely desperate for the conclusion, when are we getting the next book!?
Thank you to the publisher, Harper 360, and NetGalley for the advance reader copy for review consideration. I am choosing to write this review voluntarily and these are my honest opinions.
Rider of Dragons by A. T. Qureshi
I’ve loved all of A. T. Qureshi’s Baby Dragon books, so I was SO excited to return to this world—and honestly? This might be one of the most fun reading experiences I’ve had in a while.
This book perfectly balances cozy fantasy vibes with the brutal, dangerous side of illegal dragon racing, and I was hooked from the start. It’s fast-paced, action-packed, and full of adventure while still keeping that warmth and charm that I loved so much in her previous books.
There are lots of little cameos and connections to the Baby Dragon series that made me ridiculously happy, but I also think this works really well as an entry point into the world without feeling overwhelming.
And Fang??
Absolutely the highlight of the book for me.
Watching Fang and Ginny bond and grow together throughout the story was genuinely one of my favorite parts. Their relationship brought so much heart to the story, and every scene with Fang immediately made me smile.
Ginny was also SUCH a fun FMC. She’s unapologetic, stubborn, confident, and carries this strong feminist energy throughout the book that made her incredibly easy to root for. I loved how she fully owned who she was the entire time.
And the dragon riding absolutely delivers. The racing scenes were chaotic, intense, and honestly so entertaining to read.
I will say I’m VERY suspicious of the romance moving forward because right now this is giving major “first love interest is not endgame” energy and I cannot stop side-eyeing it. 😭
But honestly? I didn’t even mind because the adventure, dragons, action, and character dynamics were so strong on their own.
And THAT ending???
Absolutely rude.
🐉 dragons & dragon bonding
⚔️ illegal dragon racing
🔥 action-packed fantasy adventures
🖤 cozy fantasy vibes mixed with danger
✨ confident, stubborn FMCs
👀 romance that may emotionally betray you later
You definitely need this on your radar.
Now I desperately need the next book because I have to know what Ginny and Fang get up to next.
Enemies to lovers
Grumpy vs Sunshine
Forced proximity
Mentor/mentee
The underdog
Found family
Slow burn
Tragic pasts
Power awakening
Dragon magic
Nothing beats a bond between a dragon and its rider!
This was fast paced and I loved seeing the girl empowerment seeing Genevieve prove her self and stand up for women in a male dominated world! Her eyes on the prize the dragon riders championship! Her determination & perseverance was really empowering and inspiring and I loved that! Especially when her family was against it as well.
Qais has a tragic backstory and becomes Genevieve‘s trainer and that tension between them was 🔥 the slow burn and yearning, I was hooked! I loved everything the story, the characters the spice! I can’t wait for the next book!!!

Rider of Dragons was such an interesting mix of dragon racing, political tension, betrayal, and slow burn romance 🐉✨
Genevieve “Ginny” comes from a powerful family heavily involved in dragon rider politics, still reeling from the loss of her older brother after he died on a rescue mission only months after winning the dragon racing championship. After losing his son, Ginny’s father refuses to support her dream of racing because he believes it’s far too dangerous for his daughter and wants to protect her… but it also becomes very clear that he believes dragon racing is simply too dangerous for women in general, especially since no woman has ever won the championship 😤
Because of that mindset, Ginny constantly has her dreams dismissed and every move controlled. Her father takes things to extreme lengths too — freezing her bank accounts, threatening to kick her out, and doing everything possible to stop her from racing even though she is 24 years old and perfectly capable of making her own choices. I spent so much of this book wanting to scream at her family to let the girl LIVE.
Determined to prove everyone wrong, Ginny starts secretly selling her jewelry and valuables to pay for training. The problem? Nobody wants to go against her father and help her… so she ends up venturing into gang territory looking for someone willing to take the risk 👀
Enter Qais 🫠
Qais agrees to train her for the prize money, but makes it VERY clear that if she loses or doesn’t hold up her end of the deal, he’ll slit her throat. You know… the perfect foundation for romance 💀
The tension between Ginny and Qais was honestly one of my favorite parts of this book. The secret training sessions, the forced proximity, the constant danger, the hidden identities… it all worked so well together. And THAT kiss after her brother catches them training?? The way she uses it to cover what they were actually doing while her brother assumes she’s just sneaking around with her “boyfriend”? Absolute perfection 😩
After her father eventually discovers the truth thanks to people who seriously needed to mind their own business, everything completely explodes in Ginny’s face. Following a rough night trying to process it all, she ends up staying with Qais while the two begin even more intense training for the upcoming races.
The races themselves kept getting deadlier as the story progressed, but watching Ginny slowly start holding her own and proving she belongs there was SO satisfying. She’s determined, stubborn, reckless at times, but impossible not to root for.
The pacing did feel a little slow in parts for me, but I constantly had this feeling that something terrible was looming in the background… and let me tell you, when the other shoe finally dropped? I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room 😭 That cliffhanger was BRUTAL and now I desperately need the next book because excuse me??? We’re ending THERE?!
Thank you A. T. Qureshi, NetGalley, and Harper 360 for the opportunity to read and review this story filled with dragons, danger, betrayal, deadly races, and simmering tension 🐉🔥
I honestly LOVED this book, and the ending has me upset that I have to wait so long for book two. In the beginning, the book was feeling a little more YA minded - a little slow, overly descriptive. But it really picked up over time, like a super slow burn. But, truly the last half of the book and the final few chapters had me locked in, and I am honestly looking forward to the next book already!
I read this whole book in one sitting while on a car trip today, I couldn't put it down!
Premise: FMC comes from a family of dragon racers, but her parents don't want her to participate because she's a girl and it's too dangerous. She hires MMC as her trainer, and promises to give him the prize money when she wins the final race so he can buy back his family's farm. And of course they fall for each other in the process.
I really enjoyed the heroine, who was smart, independent, and fought for her dreams even though her father was unsupportive. The female side characters were also fantastic, showing that strong women have their place in this world.
The slow burn relationship was amazing! Things developed very naturally between the two, while still feeling inevitable. I'm an absolute sucker for a fake-relationship smooch that turns into more!
A few minor things that were bothersome in this read:
I wish there had been more world building! Why are the dragon races illegal? Are they secret or not? (Completely unaddressed as far as I recall.) Is there any magic in the world other than dragons? The book mentions cell phones and tshirts and I couldn't figure out if this was a modern day setting, or high fantasy but with iPhones?
There were 13 dragon races in the book, and while the first handful were very exciting, they really slowed down the pace of the writing, especially in the last third.
The relationship between FMC and the rival rider, with the "ohhh are they actually attracted?" bit, fell a bit flat for me. The tension wasn't enough to make me think that they might actually get together, and it was hard to tell if he was an ally or villain and as a result was hard to take seriously.
Also, the spice didn't work for me. When the characters finally got together, I feel it would have worked much better as a fade to black; tons of buildup, but the actual interaction gets only a paragraph and little emotional payoff.
Overall, I really enjoyed the action, the slow burn, and the way FMC totally stuck it to the Dragonrider patriarchy. My quibbles are only because I was sooooo emotionally invested in the story that a few things felt like a letdown. But after the cliffhanger ending, I absolutely can't wait to read the sequel.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC of Rider of Dragons. I've been anticipating this book since the author announced it last year and it did not disappoint!!
I always love supporting brown authors with brown MCs!! Plus, I loved everything about the FMC and MMC - their chemistry was steamy and I adored the slow burn (pun intended)! Qureshi always does a fantastic job with her character- and world-building - I truly enjoy her writing style.
The author also did a great job describing the racing itself so it wasn't confusing to the reader. I thought the action parts were very intriguing and I kept wanting to read more! This cliffhanger has me impatiently waiting for the second in the series!!!!

It is a spin off of The Baby Dragon series that follows Genevieve on her dragon racing journey! It has heartache, romance with spice, betrayal and most importantly dragons!! I love Fang and was super excited to get more on Fang and his dragon racing. But seriously now I have to wait til August 2027 with that ending?!? No spoilers but why?!?

Rider of Dragons was everything I wanted in a dragon fantasy and more. The story had so much tension, emotion, and high stakes that I flew through it way too fast. Genevieve was such a strong and determined main character, and the chemistry between her and Qais kept me completely invested. Add in deadly dragon races and an ending I never saw coming, and this easily became one of my favorite romantasy reads.

If you want high-stakes fantasy with a morally ambiguous love interest, a protagonist who actually changes (and not always for the better), and world-building that rewards paying attention, Rider of Dragons delivers. It's dark, it's thrilling, and Qureshi clearly understands that the best tensions are the ones that make you uncomfortable.

First of all Thank you to Harper 360 and NetGalley for the ARC!
Rider of Dragons was one of my most anticipated reads of 2026. Set in Qureshi’s established Starshine Valley world, this duology opener dives into illegal dragon racing, criminal gangs and darker territory. The races are vividly written and genuinely tense, but the book felt caught between cosy fantasy and romantasy without fully committing to either. Ginny is a likeable protagonist, though her naivety grated at times, and the Ginny–Qais dynamic had potential that never quite ignited. That cliffhanger ending, though — I’m hooked for book two. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rider of Dragons by A. T. Qureshi was an absolute thrill ride. Between the dragon racing, intense competition, and slow-burn romance, I couldn’t put it down. Genevieve is a strong, determined heroine, and the chemistry had me turning pages late into the night.
The ending left me needing the next book immediately. A must-read for romantasy and dragon lovers!

When I got this I didnt realize that this was a part of the Baby Dragon Cafe series and I got SOOO excited when I figured it out 😆 absolutely lovely addition to the series! I loved Ginny so much! Will definitely be pushing this one to my customers!!

That’s pretty much where I’m at right now, I seriously loved this book. I loveeeeeee an underdog story, even more when it’s a female in a male dominated field underdog. Seriously though I’m going to need 2-7 businesses days to recover from those last few chapters.
Rider of Dragons by A. T. Qureshi was an absolute thrill ride. Between the dragon racing, intense competition, and slow-burn romance, I couldn’t put it down. Genevieve is a strong, determined heroine, and the chemistry had me turning pages late into the night.

This was so much fun, I haven't had the pleasure of reading Qureshi's previous work but found this to be fast paced, fun and filled with action and adventure. There were plenty of cameos from the 'Baby Dragon' series but these were introduced in a way that didn't make you feel you were missing something if you haven't read those yet (like me).
