Listen I’m a ho for a good cowboy romance but then you went and made it a DARK cowboy romance?!! Absolutely obsessed with this book! The tropes were troping-age gap, moody cowboy, stalking/kidnapping, he cums in his pants, touch her and die, she’s a virgin. Like, do I need to keep going? I obviously loved the spice in this book. There was a slow burn which was actually done right. Rad and Peyton were both enjoyable and the plot had me sat! Thank you to NetGalley and Saffron Kent for this ARC read. I truly enjoyed it!

I had the absolute BEST time reading this book. Peyton and Radisson are the epitome of how a slow burn doesn’t have to feel slow. The push and pull of their chemistry had me on the edge of my seat.

Peyton is the Turner Princess and Rad is the enforcer sent to bring her to the ranch for revenge. But what no one knows is his assigned of watching her made one thing very clear to him— the Turner Princess is his and he watches and protects what’s his. Peyton likes to put on a lot of personality to deflect from a rocky childhood and a shield she’s put up to protect her from her father. When Rad sees her for who she is and finally makes her feel safe, it’s hard for her to see anything but the man who’s been stalker her.

Saffron is redefining the dark cowboy romance genre with plots with immense depth and twists and turns you can’t put down.
