July 1936. On the eve of the Spanish Civil War, British artist Alicia Green travels to Barcelona to attend the People’s Olympiad. When violence erupts and the games are cancelled, Alicia joins the Republican cause, only to be killed in the crossfire. Her death is dismissed as a tragic accident.
