This is a beautifully presented introduction to one of history's most fascinating pharaohs. Combining engaging illustrations with clear, accessible writing, making the story of Tutankhamun, the discovery of his tomb, and its incredible treasures easy to understand. It's an ideal read for anyone with an interest in ancient Egypt, offering enough detail to educate while remaining enjoyable for younger readers and adults alike. A visually stunning and informative book that's perfect for history enthusiasts.

A fantastic read, very interesting. If you want to learn in depth about Tutankhamun this is the book for you.
I've always loved ancient Egypt so it was a pleasure to go back into that world again.
The pictures are stunning especially the colours of all the artifacts found in his tomb.
Highly recommend this book if you want to know about the life of the boy king 🤴

Of course there are dozens of illustrated books about Tutankhamen and the treasures found in his tomb, discovered in 1922. Some are not as good as this one. The photographs are excellent, the narrative is excellent and discusses some of the new information revealed through DNA. All I can say is that I wish it was twice as long. There are thousands of items found in the tomb that aren’t discussed and some of them are quite strange and could use explanation. Good book.
