I was totally drawn into this book from page 1!! I started this yesterday and finished this morning, I honestly just couldn't stop reading. I love Luna's writing, how she brings together the danger of a mafia world but keeps it mostly outside the apartment door. London is on the run, her father (a powerful man) is dead but not before selling her off to another powerful and horrid man. She has been abused for years, told she isn't worth more than her childbearing potential and is determined to make a new life for herself. She has been given an address and a name. Enter Archer, hacker, tatooed bad boy who is also very introverted and reserved. Oh, and he has no idea why London is on his doorstep!! A lot of the book is them co-habitating, trying to carve out some space in a one bed apartment.

These two are TOTAL opposites. Archer is organised, tidy and reserved. London is absolutely not this at all!! It makes for a lot of funny scenes, Archer constantly exasperated with her messes and London just trying to wind him up more!! I also love the nicknames they have for each other, especially Archer's for London!! It totally describes her!!!! There is so so much tension between them, it is absolute perfection. They absolutely don't want to want each other but they are totally drawn together. It is forced proximity at its absolute best!!!!!!

There are so so many scenes that made my heart happy. Like how London can't wash her hair so Archer does it for her?! SWOON!!!! I love how he is totally the grumpy, grouchy man who really doesn't want someone in his space but he can't help but look after her, watching her on cameras, totally invested in ruining all her dates!! London is one of the most resilient FMC's I've read for a while, shehas had so much happen to her and she just keeps going, but more than that she still has joy, the ability to trust and form friendships adn best of all totally wind up Archer and banter with him!!!!

Its not all about the romance, I loved the plot as well, I was on the edge of my seat, especially towards the end!! I also need to see more of some of the side characters, Grace (London's friend) and all of Archer's family!!!!!

I’m always a little nervous going into grumpy x sunshine because sometimes it can feel a little too overdone, but this one was done perfectly. Archer gave us exactly what we needed! A grumpy, broken man who acts like he doesn’t care but has the biggest heart underneath it all. 🥺

And London… ugh, my heart, our little tornado. She was such a gem. Watching everything she had to endure, especially from someone who was supposed to love and protect her, absolutely broke me. She deserved so much better, and I loved seeing her strength throughout the story & to finally get everything she deserves.

The plot kept me hooked the entire time because this wasn’t your typical mafia billionaire romance. It had so many layers, depth, and emotions that made it stand out.

AUDIO BOOK was SOOOOO GOOD as well! The narrators did an incredible job with this audiobook; their performance truly brought the story to life.

This is my first read from this author and I am sat. I had the privilege of receiving an ARC/ALC on NetGalley and I am SO thankful. This book doesn’t even release for another two months and I’m already foaming at the mouth for the second. I truly cannot wait.

I love a good enemies to lovers, especially when they’re TRUE enemies and cannot stand to be around one another. Archer Sin is a 6’5” recluse of a man and has been tasked with keeping London safe after she shows up unannounced and clearly on the run from her past. The only problem? Aside from being complete strangers, it’s very apparent that these two are polar opposites and the bickering will not relent. The one thing he hates more than her inability to shut up? The fact that he doesn’t actually hate it, not even after their pasts catch up to them.

I don’t want to spoil too much, but just know that it is SO incredibly worth it. I mean not only does this man wash and dry her hair for her…he learns to braid it🤭
