Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced review copy.

As someone who loves Halloween, this was such a fun read! Monster Manners A to Z is a cute and creative way to introduce good manners through friendly monsters and spooky fun. The illustrations are colorful and full of personality, making each page engaging for young readers.

This would be a great addition to a Halloween storytime, classroom, or family bookshelf. It’s festive, educational, and just the right amount of spooky without being scary. A perfect pick for little Halloween fans!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC.

This was such a fun and creative way to teach manners! Each letter introduces a different monster and pairs it with a behavior that fits the character perfectly. My favorite part was how the manners weren’t random—they were thoughtfully connected to each monster, making them easier to remember. For example, the boogeyman uses a tissue instead of his sleeve, which made me smile.

The illustrations completely won me over. They’re bright, colorful, eye-catching, and full of personality without ever feeling scary. The monsters are silly and friendly, making this an approachable read for young children, especially around Halloween. The short passages also make it an excellent choice for reading aloud.

This would be a wonderful addition to homes, classrooms, libraries, and Halloween storytimes, but honestly, I think it has value well beyond the spooky season. It’s a clever alphabet book that teaches kindness and good manners in a way kids will actually remember.
