I found this to be a wonderful selection of different recipes that is easy to read and organized well. It tells you the cooking method at the top, the ingredients and even substitutions at the end by others who suggested it. There are more than a few recipes that I want to incorporate in a meal for home or at a holiday gathering. The cover is inviting and the pictures of the food throughout the book made me hungry. This is the perfect cookbook to have on hand when you need a new idea and are looking for something comforting.

Are church cookbooks still a thing?! That's what this collection of recipes reminds me of. Some of the best casserole and potluck items can be found in a good ol' church cookbook. I haven't had a chance to try out the recipes in this collection but I've gone through and reviewed them and have quite a few highlighted and ready to dig in!

The holiday meals seem a little fancier, but no more difficult. There are some really enticing recipes here. The same could be said for the desserts.

I think this book would be useful for anyone, from a novice cook, to an experienced cook who wants to make some simple and delicious meals.
