An absolutely fascinating book that will change how I use Facebook forever. Everybody who is on Facebook (or other social networking sites) should read this book. What an eye-opener! I cannot recommend this book enough, it offered so much more than I expected. This one is on my long list for my Top Ten Reads of 2016.

The book tackles the way social media has impacted our lives and us as individuals. Each and every chapter is packed with interesting and often very surprising perspectives and facts about everything from genuine Facebook addiction that professional Psychologists and Therapists are seeing at alarming rates to how many people are hiding being a forced, fake persona that then actually can change who they are as individuals on a core level (that fascinated and scared me at the same time!).

It also discusses other social media sites, however has a majority focus on Facebook itself. You will learn how Facebook began and why (who knew!) along with many other facts that may really come as quite a surprise. I don't want to spoil it for you by talking too much about what topics are covered as I enjoyed the book because it kept throwing up new things that I would never have known or considered had I not read this book.

I think it's essential reading, it will challenge and inform. The way it's written is engaging and easy to follow, I was eagerly turning the pages and finished this book over a few hours. I use social media sites for both personal and business use and WILL now never use them the same way again. This book has quite literally changed a part of my life and given me massive food for thought.

This is a 5 star read and I never expected the book to take me into areas about mental heath, emotional stability, self-esteem or how Facebook changes the way we are and how we interact in the "real world". Brilliant stuff. I would love to read your comments here on my review from anyone else who reads this book as I think it's prime discussion material. Go grab it!
