This is really good. An insta mafia romance with an age gap. Very well narrated. Loved the British setting, the voices are super hot. The male one is especially sexy and deep. It’s a simple story but very effective. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

What a delightful book. I loved it. There was plenty of the good stuff (spice) for such a short book. The FMC was a hard working nurse. The MMC was a mafia boss. This was truly such a sweet telling of someone falling in love. It was easy to read and short and also had some suspense to it. I want more of these. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were perfect. I loved their accents. They really brought the story to life. I would definitely recommend this novella.

I really enjoyed this audiobook! The story was fun and easy to get into, and the narration was great. The spice was also really good and definitely added to the story without feeling overdone. Overall, it was an enjoyable listen and I’d definitely recommend it! :)

I love everything I've read by Evie Rose and this series of novellas is so freaking fun! It's a quick burn, but so fun and lighthearted, the characters are whimsical but real and I just love them so much. Absolutely perfect for a quick pick me up!

FML!!! I'm only 6% in and my pants are wet already. I've heard a LOT of growly men but MmmMMM mmmmMMMm Lucas Wesley is on a whole new level!!! And Zara Hampton-Brown is THE most convincing innocent virgin I've ever heard. She's so sweet she will give you a toothache.

It's hot but also so funny, I literally just barked laughing ..."He just called me a good girl; I thought that was something you said to golden doodles who brought back their ball" and that's how it continued until the end. I found I was giggling like a bloody teenager. when you hear lines like ... “She wants to pet the big murder kitty”

In my opinion, this is my favourite of Evie's books yet. Definitely one of my 2026 favourite reads

I LOVED the audiobook of Kept by the Kingpin by Evie Rose. I really liked the love story between Callie and Reed. It is sweet and hot. But the audiobook, read by Zara Hampton-Brown (one of my favorites 😍) and Lucas Webley brought this adorable story to the next level. Their voices really emphasized the age-gap trope. I highly recommend.

What a great instalust, mafia romance. What do you do when a super sexy, older mafia boss reverse kidnaps you? Whatever he wants you to do. Just like all of the other reluctant Maths Club members who have fallen head over heels for unlikely woman this story does not disappoint. This was a super fast read but was perfect for finishing I one sitting.
The narrators were absolutely perfect for these characters.

Okay, this was such a fun, spicy little audiobook! A mafia boss, age gap, forced proximity, nurse/patient situation AND a reverse kidnapping?! Apparently Evie Rose decided to throw everything in there, and I was completely here for it. 😂

Callie nurses Reid after he's shot, he decides he wants her working for him, she tells him no...so naturally this completely reasonable mafia man buys her entire building and moves in upstairs instead. 😂 I knew right then exactly what kind of story I was getting.

I loved how completely obsessed Reid was with Callie. He's powerful, possessive, protective, and definitely used to getting whatever he wants, but there was also a surprisingly sweet side to their relationship. This is definitely an insta-love story, so things happen FAST, but for a short, spicy mafia romance, it worked for me. There's plenty of chemistry and spice packed into this novella, along with just enough suspense to keep things interesting.

The duet narration was probably my favorite part. Lucas Webley and Zara Hampton-Brown were fantastic together, and I loved their voices for these characters. Lucas's deeper voice worked ridiculously well for Reid, and the British accents added even more to the London setting. The duet format made their chemistry even better and brought so much personality to the story.

This isn't a dark, complicated mafia epic. It's short, spicy, slightly ridiculous, possessive mafia romance FUN—and sometimes that is exactly what I want. I flew through it and had such a good time!
