Do you know what a wearable robot is? It has joints and limbs that fit the human body. It is a machine that anticipates the movement of the human body. A fascinating look at the technology of wearable robots. It also gives a brief history of robots that describes the development of wearable robots. It explains the problems and challenges of making robots that people can wear so they are able to move on their own with the wearing of robots. It also discusses the future of them.

The author has written an excellent book about wearable robots. I found it to be insightful and interesting. I learned quite a bit about the wearable robots. It is a wonderful technology that I wasn't aware of how far we have come with this. It is a book that has a dictionary, gives books, websites and a video for more information.

I had no idea this technology existed! This book is fascinating. Information tends to alternate between how to use computerized exoskeletons to increase soldier's abilities and how to use these machines to rehabilitate or aid people with disabilities. Lots of color pictures break up the text and make the book easier to read. Not sure if I will purchase this book or not. It will depend on cost and what other titles are in the series.
