Description
Hopeless romantic Eva Jordan loves everything about Christmas. She might be spending the holidays alone this year, but when she’s given an opportunity to house-sit a spectacular penthouse on Fifth Avenue, she leaps at the chance. What better place to celebrate than in snow-kissed Manhattan? What she didn’t expect was to find the penthouse still occupied by its gorgeous—and mysterious—owner.
Bestselling crime writer Lucas Blade is having the nightmare before Christmas. With a deadline and the anniversary of his wife’s death looming, he’s isolated himself in his penthouse with only his grief for company. He wants no interruptions, no decorations and he certainly doesn’t appreciate being distracted by his beautiful, bubbly new housekeeper. But when the blizzard of the century leaves Eva snowbound in his apartment, Lucas starts to open up to the magic she brings…This Christmas, is Lucas finally ready to trust that happily-ever-afters do exist?

*Sigh* Another wonderful story by Sarah Morgan. A Christmas love story with a wintery, snowy New York as a backdrop and chemistry so hot that it almost melted all the snow was the perfect book to snuggle up and read. I absolutely loved everything about this story. Eva was a great heroine. She was strong, optimistic, sweet, kind-hearted and the complete opposite of our cynical hero, Lucas. But together they made the perfect couple. This was such a heart warming love story filled with moments that made me smile, laugh, and tear up. I wish it didn’t have to end. I loved all the books in this amazing series.

I loved Miracle on 5th Avenue. In fact, I loved it so much that I stayed up all night reading it until I'd finished. I've enjoyed all the books in the trilogy but I think this is by far and away the best. The chemistry between Eva and Lucas was palpable and their behaviour was believable. There was plenty of tension in the plot but the plotting was cleverly done so that it wasn't always predictable. And I liked Eva and Lucas. They both learned and developed as people and I cared what happened to them. I'd happily read this again. Now all Sarah Morgan has to do is produce another novel at the same high level.
