Encouraging Thoughts for Women: Comfort

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the Bible verses that were chosen for this book. I think this book has a lot of good information in it. I think this is a book Women would enjoy reading.

This book gives firsthand and genuine opinions and ideas about many different subjects on our LORD.  For example the first thing she talks about is perspective.  It shows how she went out on a hike that she didn't truly want to go on but she did for her friend and the whole time she is on the walk she kept thinking these negative thoughts and complaining to herself - then almost to the top she is reminded about the surroundings and how GOD in HIS infinite Glory made the sky, mountain, flowers, the skyline, everywhere she looked and she was just taken aback and realized just how her perspective was askew and she didn't have her mind on the LORD but on herself.,  This is just a little snippet of the book - that is the first two pages - it goes deeper and uses Scripture which is something I insist that books like this have to have - and so should you - but this is a great book.

I really enjoyed this book.  I think any women in your life would be blessed with this book! I highly recommend it!

This book is filled with encouraging words, scripture and quotes to help you when things are not going exactly right.  Who could not use some encouragement to help you get through life?  It cover such topics as perspective, wisdom, healing and gratitude, to name just a few.  I found the short sections dedicated to different topics helpful and I could read whichever pertained to me on any given day.   I can go back and reread this book when I need extra encouragement.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for inspirational readings that you can read everyday.  I found this book very helpful in my everyday life.

A good and quick read. Lots of Bible verses, along with some quotes, and stories that offer encouragement and comfort. I really liked this book and can see myself referring back to it again. I liked the way the book was broken down by different topics and then verses, quotes, and a story were given around each topic.
