YMAA also publishes works of mystery/suspence/thriller fiction and historical novels rooted in martial arts or martial philosophy. YMAA was founded on January 1, 1984 with the goal of producing superior books and instructional videotapes on Qigong and Chinese martial arts. YMAA was also an early pioneer in the DVD industry, producing in-depth, extended-play DVDs with hours of instructional content. YMAA will continue to mark the path between East and West in its publications and DVDs. It is our hope that this path will lead to a new, benevolent society.
