The grumpy/sunshine appeal of Tessa Bailey’s IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER meets the cozy fantasy vibes of THE BABY DRAGON CAFE in this spicy, utterly charming Alaska-set fated mates romance.
Claw Haven—a place where monsters go to find some peace and quiet…
Spoiled heiress Luna Stack is meant to be sipping mai tais on a beach with her fun-loving fiancé. Instead, a snowstorm strands her in Claw Haven, Alaska, a cozy town full of monsters living the quiet life. At least the werewolf innkeeper’s hot—until he opens his mouth.
Luna’s more than ready to leave the grumpy wolf and his decrepit inn behind as soon as the snow clears, but when a potion mishap bonds the two of them together, she resigns herself to staying in Claw Haven, just for a little while.
She’s only werewolf married though, not married married, like, legally. No big deal.
Oliver Musgrove wants nothing to do with his new “wife.” He has annoying, friendly townsfolk to ignore, and he’s lost his ability to shift, which means his alpha ambitions are currently on hold.
Unfortunately, no matter how much Oliver wants to keep his distance from Luna, the bond says otherwise. Even though the two can’t stand each other, maybe they can stop bickering long enough to explore the magical spark between them…
After all, what’s a little knotting between enemies?

L.A heiress (Luna) meets small town handsome werewolf (Oliver).
It reads like a romcom movie. Cue fun banter, hilarious situation of accidental marriage, spicy scenes and struggles to overcome. Luna challenges her identity as a spoiled heiress, Oliver has a tough time with the past and they both have tension with how they feel about each other. Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is enjoyable and charming with just enough emotional pull, like one of your favorite romcoms.
The setting is modern day world but with cozy town-folk monsters, like minotaurs, hedgehogs and orcs. You learn more about the whimsical town and the monsters that live there as the story progresses.
This read will give you feelings of giddiness and add a little spice to your life.

Isabelle has a new reader for life because let me tell you this was the funniest and most entertaining read I've seen in a while and it is such a breath of fresh air.

So, a little backstory. This book was independently published before it was picked up by Harlequin/Harlequin-Romance. First, I love the passion the author showed for her work and that so many others believed in her that she was able to publish it. Second, I am reviewing the copy of the book being released by Harlequin-Romance. Ok, now that we got that out of the way, let’s go.
TL/DR: So hopefully you have read the synopsis? Awesome! Now, if you love stories with grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, an accidental bonding, a FMC that comes into her own and a MMC that is poked and prodded gently out of his grumpy exterior, some spice and a sweet, cozy town filled with all kinds of paranormal creatures who don’t hide what they are, this may just be the book for you. I honestly loved it. I wholeheartedly recommend picking up a copy.
Now, if you are still reading what can I really say that the synopsis didn’t that won’t ruin the book for you? Umm, there is a super cute hedgehog who owns a chocolate store that makes chocolates that are werewolf safe. How sweet is that? From the descriptions I wish I could crawl into the pages or order some online.
There’s a bookstore owned by a grumpy dragon with a cat who has its own merchandise. I mean, come on!
Honestly, the relationship between the FMC, Luna and the MMC, Oliver is sugar and spice and grumpiness with a side of stubborn from both of them. Their relationship develops organically, even as the spice from their bond develops beside it.
I would like to thank the author, Harlequin-Romance and NetGalley for a copy of this book. All opinions are my own and my review is voluntarily given. As always, I wish you happy reading!

This book was an absolute rollercoaster—in the best way possible. I didn’t see any of the twists and turns coming, which kept me fully engaged from start to finish. As a fan of shifter romances, I had high expectations going in, and this story did not disappoint.
At first, I’ll admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of Luna. She grated on my nerves a bit in the beginning, but by the end, I found myself fully in her corner. Her character growth was one of the highlights of the book, and watching her transformation made the journey that much more rewarding.
Oliver, too, went through a bit of a metamorphosis. He was such a sweetheart by the end, and while both he and Luna were a bit frustrating at times, they became endearing and downright lovable by the final chapters.
One of the most unique and enjoyable aspects was the bonding nectar—something I hadn’t encountered before in werewolf lore. It added a fresh twist to the genre and led to some truly fun and adventurous moments.
In many ways, this felt like a shifter version of a Hallmark movie—comforting, entertaining, and exactly the kind of read I was craving. I truly can't say enough good things about this book. If you're in the mood for a cozy, unexpected, and heartwarming paranormal romance, this one's for you.

This book swept me off my feet in the best, most ridiculous way. I loved every second of it. The romance is fiery and awkward and sweet in the most unexpected places. Their bond doesn’t feel forced or rushed. It builds through tension and snark and moments that made my chest ache in the best way. I adored the slow unraveling of trust, the vulnerability that slipped through the banter, the way magic and love tangled together. The writing is cozy and warm but also sharply funny, and there’s something really magical about the town itself. I also love how the story lets the romance breathe. There’s spice, yes, and it’s fantastic, but it never comes at the expense of emotion. You feel every touch, every word, every shift in the air between them. I didn’t want to leave. I loved this so much.
