She's as tempting as butter cream frosting with sprinkles, and he's mighty tempted...

Thus book was about a woman that thought she was happy with it being only herself and her son with a boring date here and there. Then one day she saw someone that she about lost it. What she didn't know till seconds later was it was her best friend. The journey from friend to more was tough and debatable but she was ready for the sprinkles

Not too sure what was really going on most of the book. the ending came really quick and it was disjointed. it could have been so much more.

I really enjoyed Claudia and Nate's story. My only complaint was the occasional sex scene or descriptor fantasy and the occasional use of foul language. It was a sweet story about Nate, who had been Claudia's best friend for most of their life. They had never been romantically involved or interested. Claudia was a single mom with her own business and a son, Justin, who was beginning to show his preteen angst. Nate had always been there to help her in labor, when she was discouraged or needed help taking care of Justin. He had been more than just a good friend. All of a sudden, Claudia was beginning to see Nate in a different light. Was it possible that Nate could be more than just a very good friend?

Nate had security loved Claudia for all those years but never saw himself as anything more than a very good friend. As Claudia began to flirt with him, he began to wonder about the possibilities. Could they possibly be a family? You'll have to read to find out.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book that I have read from this author. I'm not sure if it is a stand alone, but that is how I read it. It was a fun, quick read. The cast of characters are cake maker and single mom, Claudia Bradley, who lives with her sister, Zoe and 10 year old son Justin above the wedding business that she runs with Zoe, the flower designer and May, the wedding dress maker. The shop was originally Claudia and Zoe's mother's, Mona, but she is ready to retire and wants May to buy into it. May's brother, Peter, is Justin's father. After offering to pay for an abortion, he left teenager Claudia, 3 months pregnant, to go to college and never returned. But aside from her family, Claudia had her best friend Nate, by her side, when ever she needed him, most of her life. Nate has been secretly in love with her, but is afraid to ruin their relationship. The whole town knows that they are perfect for each other, but will they be brave enough to cross the line from friends to lovers?

Everyone should indulge in sprinkles!

Claudia is a single mom who is raising her son, Justin, with the help of her supportive family and best friend, Nate. Justin is a young teen and is beginning to act like a teenager. He's also beginning to wonder about his absentee dad. After many years and a few bad dates, Claudia begins to see Nate in a new, romantic light, but does he feel the same way? How will Justin and Claudia handle the return of Justin's biological dad?

The story was light-hearted and outright funny at times. Claudia's attempts at flirting and Nate's interpretations made me smile. Claudia's sister was outrageous and I can't wait for her story. Nate was just a nice, solid, hot guy. This was a pretty clean book in terms of romance/sex scenes. As usual lately, the ending was over so quickly, I thought I was missing pages. Overall, a good, quick read.
