Happy Reading!

How God Grows a Girl of Grace A Devotional by JoAnne Simmons written with Jodi Simmons and Lilly Simmons, JoAnne Simmons' daughters, is a book published by Barbour.
It's a bubbling devotional book this one with a great preface written by JoAnne Simmons.
She introduces herself wishing to know every girl will read her book. I found it beautiful! and it gives me the sensation that there is a real interest for her readers.
The purpose, being the book dedicated mainly to girls, is the one of a fresh approach.
This one is a book for learning how to be Girls of Grace.
What does it mean?
In a world pretty confused, growing up daughters religiously, or, with that special touch that it is grace is difficult, but God is not an abstraction and can be lived in a healthy way.
There are very good advice, many serious thematic touched like forgiveness, real beauty, the importance of little things, Time, Love.
A devotional is dedicated at trouble, another one wants to admonish girls at staying out of the trash.
I love this book because it's fresh and because JoAnne expresses her feelings starting from her real experience with her daughters, and so lessons she learned while she was and she is educating them, while she spends time with them, writing them down now advice for giving to you a direction as well.
According to my point of view this one is a great wonderful and fresh reading.
I suggest this book to everyone in particular to all that girls who, in a complicated society like this one don't want to lose their contact with God or they want to live with grace their existence.
I thank NetGalley and Barbour for this eBook.

I got this book for my daughters, who are ages 10 and 12. This devotional was perfect for both of their ages. Each of the 180 brief devotionals includes a Scripture, a short thought/lesson/message about that Scripture that is easy to read and applicable to preteens, and a closing prayer. These devotions are perfect for either me to read to my daughters or them to read to themselves at bedtime. The tone is playful, encouraging, and fun. I definitely recommend this is a great devotional resource for preteen girls! My only complaint would be that the Kindle edition is a bit hard to read. I'd recommend going with the print version. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me a digital copy for honest review.
