Description

What is God saying to you in your dreams?

Decoding Your Dreams is a beginner’s guide to understanding the true source of our dreams, dream classifications, and even dream symbols. This book answers questions like:

  • Can we control our dreams?
  • I used to dream all the time. Why has my dream life suddenly ceased?
  • Should I pray for the gift of dream interpretation?
  • What does it mean if I see people in my dreams who have already passed away?
  • When do I share a dream I’ve received and when do I keep it to myself?
  • Where does déjà vu fit into the world of dreams?
  • Why should I pay attention to my children’s dreams?

There are dozens of mentions of dreams in the Bible. From Abraham to Joseph, from Daniel all the way to Pontius Pilot’s wife, God has communicated with His people through dreams throughout recorded history.

Why would God choose to speak to us while we sleep? Perhaps it’s because we are too distracted during the day to sit still long enough for Him to share the deep secrets of His heart.

Jennifer LeClaire is convinced God speaks to us in ways that are very personal. At times he may use pictures, memories, impressions, or even a still small voice.

Let Decoding Your Dreams help you embrace your Spirit-inspired dreams!

God speaks to me via dreams a lot, and I am not new to the subject; however, I still like to read books and hear teachings on the subject for any new perspectives that can increase my understanding. I found this book to be a great introductory book for new Christians or new learners to the subject of dreams. At the same time it's also a nice refresher book for seasoned Christians and dreamers.
The author has an excellent balanced approach with meaningful examples and simple language. I think every important foundational topic was covered, and then some. For example, I was aware of the influence of culture on the subjective interpretation of dreams but this book went into many examples that were interesting - even if unnecessary.

I would definitely recommend this book to someone interested in starting to explore how God may be speaking to them via dreams.

Great book for anyone wanting to know more about the power that dreams often have. While using the Bible, it reminded me of many passages. Would be good for a new or a seasoned person to religion who has a open mind. Littered with meaningful examples but not with daunting language that’s not understood.

Thank you to the author and Netgalley for this ARC for an honest review.

This is a great book about the dreams (or perhaps messages??) that God sends us while we sleep. We often dream but many times cannot remember our dream or think it is simply sporadic moments. Jennifer LeClaire helps us to see that God does speak to us in our dreams similar to those that he spoke to in the Bible. She gives examples from the Bible of people falling asleep and God speaking to them. They remember the dream as a message from God and act on it. We tend to be too busy and callous to believe God would speak to us. This book shows exactly that not only can he, but God does.

I recommend this book for anyone trying to get closer to God by learning what he has to say to each of us.

This is a great book. I have questions about dreams I dream and always needed answers and this book helped me to understand some things. It doesn’t tell you the meaning of your dreams, but helps you to trust God for discernment and wisdom in finding what he’s trying to tell you, if it’s a dream from Him....I would recommend the book to everyone...Thank you to Net Galley and publishers of Decoding Your Dreams for opportunity to read and review with my honest opinion.
