The authors explain what the role of carbohydrates are in your diet, which is very important, along with the role of GLUTEN and its disadvantages. Thomson claims in order to eat a balanced meal with the correct amount of carbs, and also with the proper amount of GRAINS, you certainly need to consider these 2 components and PLAN meals ahead of time, avoiding hunger pangs! This is all part of controlling caloric intake and balancing your diet. What else do they report is necessary? To "thrive", we must also CONSIDER EXERCISING up to 3 times a week, ideally. If you follow these guidelines which the authors relate in this comprehensive guide to better eating and regular exercise, then you will feel better and be PROACTIVE in other areas of your life. This is a must read for anyone on a DIET and looking to make EASY lifestyle changes, and changes to diet, which in turn will lead to rewarding yourself with STRENGTH and ultimately these STRATEGIES supported in this resource book will result in an increased METABOLISM. Readers will burn those CARBS like a firestorm!
