Wow, I absolutely loved this book! I had not read book one and was concerned I would be lost. This one is definitely a stand alone and so good, I promptly ordered book 1.
The story centers around FBI Special Agent Mike Flynn and Lucia Costa, the sister of Alex Costa, one of his brothers in arm.
When Mike gets a call from Alex and asks him to find Lucia and keep her safe, he takes vacation time, flies to the other side of the country never realizing that his life would be forever changed.
Lucia, a brilliant graduate student, is determined to find out who killed her brother Cole. A cop who was working undercover. Fearing for her life, she took a new identity but she’s running out of money and options. That is, until Mike shows up.
Their attraction is immediate, but danger surrounds them and they have to be a cautious and a step ahead of whoever betrayed her brother. Add to that a drug cartel and human trafficking, and this suspense, gritty romance will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Can’t wait to read book one and whatever else this talented author has in store for us.

This is a super sexy read. This book can easily be devoured in a day. Sexy Agent Flynn sets his sight on a friend's sister. Lucia's brother was killed in front of her. Her older brother, Alex has called a military buddy to go to Lucia's aid. He finds her in hiding. The journey begins from there. This is a sexy, action packed book.

As this is a new to me author, I am thrilled at how much I enjoyed this story. I am now going back to check out book 1 in this Tactical Solutions series.
I love the special relationship that Lucia shares/shared with her brothers. I also like the fact that Alex has zero hesitation call in a marker to Special Agent Mike Flynn. I enjoyed that Lucia was not a damsel in distress and could fend for her own. I loved the dynamic that boiled underneath the surface between Mike and Lucia. Giving into their mutual attraction is just half the battle with these two. The mutual respect that they have for one another is really a bright spot. Alex, is probably the most intriguing character and I am so excited for his story!

Lucia Costa received a desperate call from her brother. That puts her in grave danger. The cartel have cops on their payrole so there's no way to know who to trust.

Special Agent Mike Flynn gets a call from an old friend. The man has asked him to find and protect his sister, because he's on assignment.

This is an action packed romantic suspense. The characters are strong, brave and sexy. Danger comes from all directions and a vicious cartel boss has a long reach with far too many contacts. This story will have you on the edge of your seat.

Run and Hide by Maggie Clare is the second book in her Tactical Solutions International series and I only have one question....when is the next book out? I loved this book from start to finish Lucia Costa is one heck of a heroine and when you add Mike Flynn, throw in non stop action to give you a 5 star story. I went back to buy the first book so that I could read about Mike's sister Fiona and Jake Evans story.

Lucia Costa receives a call from her brother Cole calls for her to run as his cover had been blown by a coworker. She grabs the items from the safe and runs for safety with a hard drive his last word to her are TRUST NO ONE. She decides to make a fake copy of the drive contents and Her older brother Alex calls in FBI Mike Flynn who'll find her but they'll soon find out how deep the cartel is with the human trafficking. It will be a wild ride that Lucia and Mike will be on and using all resources they have. Will they escape in time when Mike is confronted by the cartel?

Mike Flynn know when his former Army buddy Alex calls in his marker and go to LA to find his sister . But what he doesn't expect is that Lucia is a Forensic computer hacker and has already some idea of what's on the drive and will do anything to help find her brothers murderers. They'll need help from Tactical and his former CO now in LA at FBI office to draw out the different movers and shakers until the surprise ending of how deep the betrayal goes through the different agencies. Will they be able to keep alive and hopefully their relationship will be forever.

Two people with issues. Can they overcome them and give love a chance? Read this book and find out. It was an excellent read. Lucia was a strong female lead and I really liked her character and her sense of worth. Mike I also really liked and his understand of Lucia was touching. Both at different stages in their lives but their chemistry could not be ignored. I like the twist in this book and it kept me interested the whole way through. Good read.

Lucia Costa is on the run and trying to get justice for her brother's brutal murder. She doesn't see Special Agent Mike Flynn coming and isn't sure if she should run towards or away from him. When a friend calls in a favor - you help. This favor is turning out to be a lot more dangerous - and a lot more pleasurable than Mike saw coming.

This is a steamy read with some great tough characters. I love Lucia - she is never too stupid to live and is a badass from page one. Mike is a giant grump who is trying his hardest not to fall for his friend's little sister while trying to save her. I did kind of lose track of the mystery in the middle because there was a lot of romance then it switched back to the mystery. It doesn't really hurt the story it is just odd. Definitely want the big brother's story and will read volume one of the series ASAP.

Lucia Costa and Michael Flynn are thrown together because of a favored owed. Lucia's brother is in grave danger and is on the run because of her connection. She has information that is wanted and files that need to fall into the right hands. Who are the good guys, and who are the bad guys? There seems to be confusion within the ranks and Michael and Lucia are running out of time to help. Along the way, they discover a deep love for one another.

Love the story and the characters. Nice job with a HEA.

Even though the female lead needs help she wasn't incompetent to help with the case. She and her brothers friend do find qualities they like in each other and its done nicely in that it isn't the focus of the story. The book was both adventurist and romantic the best of both worlds.I really liked this book I hope you do too.

This is a suspenseful story that quickly caught my attention. Even though this is the first book that I have read by this author, this book can be enjoyed as a standalone. Grad student Lucia witnesses her undercover cop brother Cole lose his life. Now she is on the run. Knowing that Cole was getting ready to bring down a human trafficking ring, Lucia wants to find the cop that betrayed her brother. FBI agent Mike is called in by an old military friend and her brother to find her and protect her. Mike tries to fight the attraction that he feels towards Alex's younger sister. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgallery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. Like a lot of romantic suspense books today, this books has a few steamy scenes. I really like that Mike and Lucia's connection was much more than a physical one. This book has some gripping scenes when Lucia and Mike are in danger. I enjoyed reading this book.

My first Maggie Clare book and I loved it.
Run & Hide is a Romance suspense, Special Agent Mike Flynn gets a call from his friend asking him to find his sister and keep her safe. Lucia Costa is on the run from the cartel and corrupt cops when she is found by Special Agent Mike. Together they hunt down her brother's murderer and a cartel group involved in human trafficking. Obviously sparks fly and those sparks are hot hot hot.

This installment in the Tactical Solutions International series is an irresistible romp that will have you flipping pages and chewing your nails.

Romantic Suspense is my middle name and I am not ashamed to admit it.

I have found that I really enjoy a well written RS. Maggie Clare is able to bring likable characters that reader will root for as they try to stop the crazy that is surrounding them. Lucia wants answers and refuses to stay safe but instead goes out to find justice for her brother. Mike is trying to keep a promise while trying to find answers. Together they make a great team readers will be able to fight along side.



The story is well paced and the end gives readers everything they wanted from the first few pages in the book. The story is the perfect blend of romance action and suspense. It is considered to be a stand alone book but it is book 2 in the series.

I originally discovered Maggie Clare and this series through Netgalley. The cover drew my attention and once I read the synopsis I was hooked. I love alpha military/ law enforcement romances with lots of non-stop action. The characters, their backgrounds and storylines in this series are fantastic.

All the books in Maggie Clare’s Tactical Solutions Internatinal series contain a happily ever after and can be read as a standalone, however, reading it in order will give you a better appreciation for the characters and the series itself. I can’t wait for the next book, Lost and Found. But first I plan to read book one.
