Fast paced story that, surprisingly, makes you sympathetic to a drug lord.

Layla is intelligent, beautiful and recently replaced her uncle's as head of the family business - drugs, any drug, all drugs.

She is looking to score the biggest cocaine deal of the caryel's history. And is derailed from her mission when she stumbles across a different type of trafficking.

Sex trafficking and Layla can't allow it to continue.

Complex characters, believable world building - a good weekend read.

i really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were great and I really enjoyed the mystery in the book.

A mobster story with a strong female lead? Sign me up! Layla didn’t necessarily sign up to be the head of a drug cartel, but when her uncle finds himself behind bars...well, family looks after family. This is a rollercoaster ride we are on with Layla as she finds herself in some sticky situations. What a great and entertaining read this book is.
