This book will be a great resource for anyone wanting to grow deeper in relationship with God. It is able to be used as a guide how to pray and also why we pray. If you're like me sometimes the prayer life falls to the wayside because we either are "too busy" or we just don't have the words to say so we just assume God knows. God does know that is true, but prayer isn't for God it's for us. God wants that connection and two way communication with us and we need to pray when its easy and pray when things are hard. Prayer doesn't need to be perfect it just needs to happen. The daily prayers will allow you to better tune your ears to what God is putting on your heart.

I love this book as a reminder to why I pray and to who I am praying to. There are scripture passages to prove why praying is important and can lead you to practice praying through the scripture as well. This short, but powerful resource that is a must for any christian or anyone who is wanting to start a relationship with God. It is well written and great format that is easy to understand.

Learn to Pray by Robert M. West is a small book packed with information about prayer. 66 Bible prayer passages that are explained in every day language.

Prayer is important as a connection with God. I like how this book gives details from various scripture and explains it in modern every day language. And then he gives additional scriptures to back it up. Adding what others say brings to light substantial quotes by other sources.

Many of the subjects affect us daily. Such as

Learn to Pray with Thanksgiving

Learn to Pray with Forgiveness

Learn to Pray for Guidance

Learn to Pray for Children

and so on for 66 lessons.

So how do we learn to pray? We go to the Bible for examples and instructions. It helps us understand what prayer is and how its done and why we need it in our lives. Prayer is something we need - direct communication with the God of the universe. This little book will help you begin your journey of discovery that can change your life.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Net Galley and the publisher. All views expressed are my honest opinion.
