Description

A strong, loving and passionate wife discovers a handwritten note that has the power to either destroy her or make her stronger yet.

Still Crazy is the story of one woman's journey through pain, betrayal, and forgiveness as she learns to hold onto her faith and, for the first time in her life, trust in herself. Julie Holliday has always had a dream – to be the perfect wife. After she gives her heart to the love of her life, all she wants is for Dan to adore her the way she adores him. With only a high school equivalency in one hand and a fist full of ambition in the other, together they build a million-dollar empire. It seems Julie and Dan have a fairytale life – that is, until the day she realizes her love for him is not enough to stop Dan from having what she suspects are numerous affairs.

Uplifting for a topic that is not, Still Crazy is an awakening for all couples. A searing debut for women and the men who love them.

Featured Reviews

Still Crazy by Judy Prescott Marshall is an emotional novel that dealt with the tough topic of marital infidelity. Julie Holliday is an ideal wife and is devoted to her husband Dan. Unfortunately, Dan is less devoted to the sanctity of his marriage vows.

Julie undergoes an emotional and actual journey away from her husband and close group of friends. She leaves everything behind, and escapes to Rhode Island where she begins again as a owner of an inn. Julie feels she needs to physically remove herself from Dan in order to heal again.

This book has an assortment of excellent secondary characters who add to the storytelling. Witnessing the journey Julie goes through was a beautiful and painful experience, but it was made better by her supportive friends.

The book was slightly redundant and could benefit from a tighter editing process, but the overall message is worthwhile.

I was provided a free advance reader copy from Judy Prescott Marshall in exchange for my honest review on Net Galley. The opinions shared in this review are my own.
