Write Your Own Horoscope

As someone who has been trying to get into astrology, this book has been one of the best explanations I have found so far. It looks into so many different qualities of your birth chart and helps you really gain a deep understanding of yourself. I really liked the horoscope aspects of the book I feel like it did an amazing job to teach one how to write their horoscopes! Overall this is a great tool for beginners and could really help those who are already experienced in astrology as well!

I shamelessly love reading my horoscope. This was beautifully designed and gave me better insight to horoscopes, and I think this would be a great gift for anyone!

After getting in to astrology earlier this year (thanks to lockdown), I’ve been on the hunt for a book that will help me decipher my birth chart and just to learn more about the subject in general. I wanted one that wasn’t too complicated to follow but that still had all the information I needed.. I’m glad to say this is it! I absolutely loved it!

Write Your Own Horoscope is perfect for anyone interested in astrology, it covers everything you’ll need to know from houses, planets and signs to transits, cusps and much more.

The layout, design and illustrations are great. It’s really well written with more than enough information to get a very clear understanding of astrology and how to use it.

I will definitely be buying this book to add to my collection!

The artwork throughout the text is gorgeous. I was intrigued to start figuring out mapping my different cycles and charting where my emotions might land in the different houses and rotations throughout the seasons. I was also able to evaluate my own relationships more while discussing this with my boyfriend. This is an enlightening, creative read that I think many open-minded readers will enjoy. I'm not going to lie, flicking through this book before actually reading, it felt incredibly intimidating and complicated. Lots of diagrams, lots of text - lots of astrology technical terms. I thought this book would be too much for a beginner like me.

However, these thoughts were quickly squashed as I began reading. It was so well written, and so easy to understand. The diagrams were super useful and the illustrations were a lovely touch too. Using this book, I feel so much more confident at looking at my birth chart (which I used to find baffling!) and predict things based on the chart.
This book is all you will need if you want to discover more about astrology and horoscopes. I absolutely adored this.
I was given an electronic copy to review, but I have already pre-ordered the hardcopy of the book for when it's released next month!!

I have always been very interested in horoscopes and this book was very insightful and helpful. Full of beautiful pictures, it was a pleasure to look at and an easy read. Some of the information went over my head, but I look forward to purchasing a physical copy of this book so that I might understand my charts all the better.

Jane Struthers begins by showing how astrological signs are related to the planets. She lists the personality signs we associate with each sign. To those broad descriptions, she adds modes and elements using thorough explanations. Chapters on love and sex, work and career, money, and friends and family follow. For example, you’ll learn which three planets influence the way you deal with your work and career. The final chapters on fulfilling your potential and planning your future are followed by an excellent reference section listing online sites, books and astrology programs to use. This is an excellent guide for a beginner or more advanced astrologist. 5 stars.
