Kingdom Men Rising

Dr. Evans uses the Word of God, story telling, and didactic teaching to counsel, encourage and empower men to Rise Up and be the Men God created them to be, and expect them to be. Dr. Evans also challenges men to look beyond themselves and to transfer their Kingdom legacy to future generations. He gives practical insights for achieving this goal.

If you are not satisfied with living a life of mediocrity, or having no real lasting impact on those around you, then I strongly encourage you to read this book. You won’t regret it.

I’m enjoying this book, so far. I started reading, and following Dr. Tony Evens several year’s ago, after Kingdom Men was released. This book does not fall short of his knowledge. I throughly enjoy and recommend this book to men.

Dr. Evans truly poured his heart and soul into this book. The nuggets he has written down teaches men what it takes to become a Kingdom Man. It also teaches men how to stay strong, man up and to live as a Kingdom Man in todays society amid all the worldly temptations. I will definitely be purchasing this book for my adult son so whenever he gets married he will know how to shepherd his family as a “Kingdom Man Rising” to do Gods Will.

Dr Tony Evans has written a positive, straightforward book about the duties and responsibilities of men everywhere. While tailored to Christian men, the principles and advice apply to men of all ages, locations and persuasions. I would recommend this book highly. It is not a quick read though. The topics require thoughtful consideration and more than just a cursory read. Once understood and implemented, this book can be life-changing!!

This book is so critical, especially in this day and age. So often, men fall short of the potential God planted within them when he created them, either due to a lack of understanding, a lack of commitment, a lack of leadership, or a lack of focus on the one who created us. In this book, Dr. Evans calls for an awakening and an uprising- for men to start being all that God created them to be for our society, for our churches, and for their families. This is a convicting, uplifting, and powerful read.

This book and talks on the subject have been long overdue. Too many men have fallen short of stepping up to their responsibility in regards to the further building up of God's kingdom and the effective building up of discipleship.

Men in general, including those in the pulpit, have gotten soft, caving into the pressures of modern day agendas by the status quo, society in general and political puppeteers, and let us not forget the main manipulator-satan.

It seems like it is more desirable to try and please, even when wrong and what goes against the Kingdom of God than it is to be the man that God intended and to do all he can to turn these agendas around and direct people back to the one and true King and Savior-Christ Jesus.

In this book, Tony Evans is that man that God sought out to further His agenda and Tony goes beyond merely talking about what it takes and instead lays out a plan of action that can make all the difference in the world and for the purposes of God's kingdom.

Another great book by Dr. Tony Evans! Pages 18-20 really sum up our roles in society. The definition of Kingdom man is mentioned with multiple reminders of what we can do in this world. Looking forward to reading the entire book and growing.

Excellent and a very good book to read. I have been listening to Dr. Tony Evans over the years, and I can say without a doubt, his work is top notch and what we as men need. The wisdom and application when used in a man's life from Dr. Tony Evans work, is second to none. I highly recommend this book of Dr. Tony Evans.

This is a great book for any man who is struggling to make sense of the world, who thinks he has success based on worldy measures, and/or any man who is alive. Kindom Men Rising sets the challenge in the beginning, and leads through stages of progression that do not turn you away. It is an easy read, almost like having a conversation with Dr. Evans. Dr. Evans has included many real-life relatable examples and there is an honesty and transparency in his writing that draws a reader in. It inspires introspection and reflection followed by accepting that may be where you are what you are going through, but your current circumstances are not who you are and where you should stay. No matter what a man is going through, it speaks to where he is and shows where he can go. I would also recommend that women read it as well in order to gain an understanding about what is going on within the men in their lives as well as gain inspiration for themselves.

"Kingdom Men Rising" by Dr. Tony Evans is a MUST-READ! I was excited to learn that Dr. Evans was working on an extension of his Kingdom series. Over the years, I have been blessed to read and learn from many books by Dr. Tony Evans. ("Theology You can Count On" and the "Tony Evans Bible Commentary" are two of the best books I have ever read! Of course, the Bible firmly holds the number one spot).
"Kingdom Men Rising" feels and reads different in a good way. Dr. Evans shares personal stories and insights like never before. He includes very difficult topics such as the loss of his precious wife, how kingdom men need to better deploy their transferable faith and racism. Each topic has a practical application section, steps we can take now to live out the Biblical truths on our lives. As men, we have been blessed with tremendous responsibilities and as kingdom men, we have an even higher calling. Dr. Evans invests time teaching about the Biblical principles that are failing in our society and what we as the kingdom men can do to course-correct.

One of the best books I have read! Thank you Dr. Evans. Truly eye opening and life changing. Many books give vague details but this book gives specific examples of how we men should live our life for Christ. This has truly opened my eyes and I will make changes to my life to be a true God fearing man.

Dr. Evans splendidly shares biblical truth with clarity, conviction, and relevancy for men to examine their personal journey of faith. Moreover, the reader is inspired and instructed by Dr. Evans, transparently sharing painful personal transformational experiences by employing spiritual applications and appropriate illustrations. Kingdom Men Rising gives a clarion call for godly men to stand up, speak out, and serve through leading by example, mentoring, and sacrificing for the Kingdom of God. A copy of this book will remain in my personal library for my sons and grandchildren.

Kingdom Men Rising makes the case for Christian men to answer the call to become leaders in society. The Biblical basis for Kingdom manhood is highlighted clearly in scripture and Dr. Evans gives a very practical roadmap on how men can navigate the pitfalls and landmines in our culture to answer the call to rise up and become Godly men in a very fallen society. The book is written to a male audience and very specific Biblical edicts for men is discussed but I also feel that women would benefit from reading this book because there is very helpful instruction that women can use and help share with the men in their lives.

This empowering book opens the readers perspective to the expansive influence and impactful effect his decision to fulfill or abandon God’s purpose has on self and community.

Sharing personal experiences paralleled with biblical events, Evans address hindrances that may threaten to dissuade men from seeking their spiritual responsibility; all the while offering solutions in a practical, scriptural and straight-forward, relatable voice.

Motivating, inspiring, and packed with wisdom, Kingdom Men Rising is a must-read to be shared with every male.

This book is everything and more! We live in a world that is waist deep in chaos and confusion. Tony Evans once again uses his wisdom and brilliance in Kingdom Men Rising. A voice that is so necessary today and a guide that can and i believe will help men learn and become kingdom men! What i love most about the book is Dr Tony Evans personal stories as he navigates his way through the book. We are all in this together and we will rise.

Kingdom Man Rising is an excellent book that talks about a real issue our world faces today which is, where are the Men at? Not only does the book Kingdom Man Rising talk about the issue of the lack of Kingdom men, Dr. Evans explains in great detail and provides excellent biblical truths and examples why our word faces this crippling issue. This book is an excellent read and a must read for ALL men. God needs Kingdom Men to rise up and to teach the younger generation of males about what it is to be a real man not as the world defines a man but how God does.

I’ve been listening on the radio and watching on TV/YouTube/Twitter Dr. Tony Evan’s sermons for nearly 30 years now. This is the first time I read one of his books and it’s like literally watching him preach where you sense his anointing and descriptive language in only a way Dr. Evans can deliver.

His introduction reinforces that we were made to be great by God and to do mighty things in this world while we are living in it. He reminds us that God is waiting for us to rise to the occasion and secure our spot of significance in God’s kingdom made a reality here on this Earth. For example, he uses the game of checkers to illustrate how we all were created to become a king by God. And as in the game, life will present you with challenges and obstacles, but his well-grounded biblical teachings throughout the book will prepare you to overcome these difficulties.

Dr. Evans creatively lays out the foundation and building process for achieving our God given purpose throughout the book. If your life feels like you’re living in the valley of the dry bones or you just want to find a God given purpose, I highly recommend getting this book and reading on how you can be part of the Kingdom Rising movement orchestrated by Dr. Tony Evans.

At first, I felt strange reading a book that was meant for men. However, as a woman it helped me understand the weight that a man has on his shoulders to live out his God-ordained purpose as a Kingdom Man. If I could get a book for every man in my life, I certainly would! Dr. Evans shares personal experiences and biblical principles to give men the key to application, transformation, and rising up for the purpose God called to build His Kingdom.

I have needed this encouragement. Men it is our time. We need to rise up and be the leaders God has made us to be. This book is profound and essential to all of our lives. Although I'm a woman, I've read this book for my future husband. This book is a life changing experience from the beginning to the end. The words come off the pages and challenges you to move into living your purpose as a kingdom man or woman. I found myself praying the words of this book in me and my future husband's life. There's no way anyone can read this book and be the same.

I understand Dr. Evan’s intent in writing this book was to challenge us men of God to understand manhood as God intended it to be. I was indeed challenged and it did help equip me to overcome some things in my life that were holding me back from living my life as God intended. I trust this book can do the same for you. God has blessed Dr. Evans with so much wisdom. I highly recommend this book.

Kingdom Men Rising is about our God-given responsibility to pursue a relationship with our Creator, represent Him in all we do and invest in the growth of others. Making discipleship a priority through mentor relationships to unleash someone else's potential. Dr. Tony Evans is calling men to rise up by learning to live all of life under the lordship of Jesus Christ and replicating that process in others.

As a Christian who has often wondered why churches in the United States overemphasize righteousness at the expense of justice, this book explains the results being catastrophically reduced social impact our communities. Then the book presents the solution as men being the righteousness and being the justice that others in their communities need. Dr. Evans defines justice as "the equitable application of God's moral standard as demonstrated in society" and calls men to ensure fair treatment and equal opportunities in meeting the basic human needs of others. I want to be part of the solution and this book gives practical, actionable, clear, biblical, and inspiring advice that I appreciate.
