I was new to astrology when I came to read this book and within its pages, I found an incredible sense of peace, a better understanding of myself, and a growing curiosity of the how this beautiful art/science that has been practiced for thousands of years, by various cultures, connects us to each other, the world around us & beyond. After finishing this book, I was left with a sense of excitement & an eagerness to learn more!
On a final note, Ms. Gailing is a wonderful writer and I’m going to read another book she’s written called “The Complete Book Of Dreams “ next!

This book compiles the more specific information on how to eat, move, and use the things recommended for your zodiac sign. As well as insight on moon cycles, planetary retrogrades, and stellar life cycles. I was not familiar with stellar life cycles prior to this book and found this information especially interesting. I think this is a book I would pick up on sale to add to my collection of astrological literature. It's nice to have a quick reference that lays everything out for you. However, it's priced a bit high for what it is in my opinion.

Along with all the stellar information offered throughout the book, I am hooked on Stephanie's presentation - her language, perception, telling of....keep me inspired and not only wanting to read more, but to take care of me.

This books combines my two loves. Astrology and self-care. This book will guide you through your natal chart and give you a better assessment of where you'll need a little more work. Inspirational and informative. For all my starseeds, check this out!

I hadn't really heard of the intersection between astrology and self-care before, so this seemed like a really interesting topic. I thought that a lot of the information was written really clearly (which doesn't always happen in zodiac books), and there was a good amount of details listed for each sign. I particularly liked the inclusion of health elements and how your zodiac sign might influence your physical health. The only downside is that the book feels way too short if you're only interested in reading about your own sign. I think the book would have felt even more comprehensive with a little bit more info for each sign and how they can practice good self-care techniques.

This is a very inspiring reference book that I will return to again and again. Combining detailed recommendations for your star sign along with insightful information around moon cycles, retrogrades and also Steller cycles. It helps give you some gentle focus for self care including particular therapies that suit your star sign. An enjoyable read.

If you're an appreciator of health and well-being and interested in astrology, this is the book for you. And if you're new to astrology and even a little interested in self-care, this is an awesome intro to the astro-world (on its own), as well as well-being through a starry lens. Stephanie is smart and savvy in connecting these universes and recounts, instructs and informs in such a friendly, easy-to-read way, as if she's telling you how to take care of your self (through your signs) over a cup of coffee. A guide - it's exactly that, something you can eat up in one sitting or chip away when the spirit moves you. Or, if you're feeling low energy or unwell, flip quickly to your sign and take up some of her taking-care tips which are vast and various. And btw, love the accompanying illustrations...like a poetic background soundtrack for the content. So good.

As a beginner to astrology, I found the book very informative, well-organised and beautifully presented. I think it would make a great coffee table book. The author writes in a very engaging way that is easy to understand as she explains all the key terminology and concepts in astrology. I don’t think I have read another book that explained everything better! Particularly the sections on significant events, moon phases and retrogrades.

One of the interesting (and I believe novel) aspects of this book, is that it covers self-care in terms of physical health. Most astrology books focus on personality traits and psychological self-care. Here, readers get to find out about practical advice in terms of the parts of the body and ailments they should pay attention to, as well as strategies for working on these areas.

Overall a fantastic read, and I look forward to reading other books by Stephanie Gailing.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I learnt a lot about my star sign and general astrology that confused me before reading this. I can finally say I understand my sun, moon & ascendant signs when they made 0 sense before!
I absolutely adored the graphics in this book! They made the reading experience even more zen & calm.
I enjoyed learning about the different ways in which I could take more care of myself and the different wellness therapies, relaxation practises, & oils tailed to my sign.
Overall this was a really enjoyable and educational read which taught me more about myself :)

This was an absolutely great guide to dive into your health with a guided mindset. The breakdown of this book is great for beginners and advanced astrological followers. I loved the entry in each section to lay your groundwork and then the break down into each sign, planet, and placement. You will find with this guide you can read it cover to cover and then keep it as a reference piece so you can utilize it in your daily practice. Also each of the signs can be used to reference not only your sun but your moon and rising sign. The artwork in the books is so gorgeous too, you will find yourself just staring at some of the pages for a LONG time. I want to print all of the pictures out and hang them on my wall!

Self-care has become more important than ever over the last 18 months and I’ve been developing my understanding of various methods of self-care (meditation, daily yoga, etc) throughout the lockdown period.

The Complete Guide to Astrological Self-Care was a really interesting read – pinpointing particular health issues that may affect my star sign and suggesting methods of self-care that might be appropriate.

The author was spot on with several things – allergens (dairy in particular) and a propensity for skin issues (in my case, caused by said dairy)!

I found the Jupiter Return section particularly fascinating, as I wasn’t aware I was in this period of my life but it really does explain why I’ve suddenly become more open to exploring new opportunities both in life and wellness.

The guides to new and full moons for each zodiac sign would also be helpful to refer back to periodically and the reference materials at the back allow you to delve deeper into topics of particular interest.

Recommended for anyone (both new and experienced) who is interested in wellness and looking for a little more self-care in their life.
