"1. When A Book Is A Gold Mine: Updated & Revised for 2020! by Travis Cody is a beginner's inspirational guide to writing and publishing a book. This is a packed, quick read, filled with useful information for any would be writer. As a successful writer, turned coach, Cody brings experience and common sense to the eager ears of readers everywhere.

It's important to note, that this book is not a tell-all or thorough step by step instructional guide. The book is more motivational than anything else. It has a general overview of each process of writing, publishing and editing. It inspires people to write independently and accomplish what would have been impossible twenty years ago.

2. In ""When A Book Is A Gold Mine: Updated & Revised for 2020!"" author Travis Cody shares strategies and tips on ways to writing a book that leads you to become a bestselling author. Many people are either intimidated to start or haven't reached a stage of reaping glorious benefits. As a reader, the author's encouragement is so inspiring that makes anyone feel that writing a book should be their top priority. The additional strategies provided not only helps someone structure their book from start to finish, but also demonstrates the best marketing tactics. With the advice given by Travis, you stand a greater chance of starting a project that not only will build your audience, allow you to reap the benefits of being a successful author, but would also be here decades and possibly centuries after you're gone. I highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to develop credibility for themselves because writing a book is a great method of making a legacy.

3. I really loved how informative this book is. It breaks down how to write a quality book and what you need to have great content, not just content. I have often considered writing my own book and like the author mentions, anyone can write a book but not everyone has the ability to write quality content. I think what is so important about this book is that it goes back to basics. It shows the importance of editing and layouts. Planning is important when writing. Even your teachers used to tell you in school to do an outline or make sure that you research and plan what your paper is going to be about. The same holds true for writing a book. Taking those extra steps will develop your writing in a way that will stand out. In a sea of novels and quick reads where anyone can write, you need to be different and you should take pride in your writing.

The way this book is written is intriguing. It isn't boring and dry information and the author talks about his own experiences and processes when writing. This helps make the information relateable and shows that it has worked. One chapter talks about book covers. Not only does he explain the importance of a good cover but tells you where you can get them at a fairly cheap rate ($5). This is the kind of information new writers can benefit from. I have a friend who just wrote her first book of poems. I will be sharing this book with her so she can use it on her next book! "
