I chose to review the Essential Advice for Buying Your First Home as I thought it would make a great tickle to acquire for our branch. I’m finding many young couples coming in who are starting out or considering buying their own homes and look for advice on a variety of topics,

This book accurately and consistently goes over all of the different talking points you would ask when looking for a first home and puts it in terms that are easy to understand. I recently has a close girlfriend who is going through the process with her partner and gifted this to her. She was satisfied and said it helped them tremendously in the process and they are now well on the way to buying.

Exactly what it is supposed to be. It's not fascinating or exciting but it is, however, an excellent homebuyers guide. We are talking about buying a house soon and this book gave us quite a bit of information we didn't already know. I would hands down recommend this to any kinds of first time homebuyers. Just so you have all the information you need before you start looking for your forever home.

Purchasing a home used to be the "American Dream." However, in recent years, young people have been trending towards pushing home-buying to later years. With money in short supply and stress levels higher than they should be, first-time home buyers face an intimidating journey. Diana Donnelly's book, Essential Advice for Buying Your First Home and Navigating Through the Mortgage Loan Process, is a short and information-packed read that any first-time home buyer should consider picking up. Why make home buying any more stressful than it needs to be? The seven steps will guide you through the basics, and your real estate agent will help you with the rest. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a copy, and I'll certainly be suggesting this to first-time home buyers in the future.
