5 Stars - Congratulations on your 5-star review!

I’m not sure whether Little Loose Ends by Bonnie Traymore should more correctly be called Large Loose Ends. I had not read the first book in the series, but there was enough of a back story to explain how the saga continues with one of the characters terrifying both Victoria, the main protagonist, and her new acquaintance Jenna. There is a huge problem in dealing with the threat of violence when no actual crime has yet taken place, and it becomes a “he said/she said” situation. It is difficult to persuade the police to take you seriously, even though you are living in constant fear. It’s a scenario that might apply to any one of us and the tension, uncertainty, and fear can last - and destroy lives. Not only were the young women affected by this predator, but their friends and family as well. Woven into the narrative, Victoria sees her marriage disintegrate as she battles with her desire for revenge, setting up her new art gallery, and spending time with her young daughter and her suspicious husband.

Little Loose Ends by Bonnie Traymore is a great read. The story speeds along, taking the reader with it. I identified with the characters and cared about them, which is always a sign of a good book. I admired the way the author kept my attention from the first page, not by wild car chases and multiple murders but by the strong sense of threat looming over the two women who have been terrorized. At first, I wondered if they were overreacting, but as the story moved along, I appreciated the fear and anxiety that they were experiencing. Backed up by a supportive cast of close family and friendly police personnel, Victoria perseveres in her quest for justice, but then there is a surprising twist that I never saw coming. Highly recommended and well worth five stars."

Little Loose Ends is written and billed as a standalone sequel. My only regret in reading it is that there were so many spoilers for the first book in the series that I hadn't yet read. But this was an excellent book with a fun twist at the end that I didn't see coming.

The main character, Victoria, is a new mom, wife of a cheating husband, privileged art gallery owner, and victim of assault. The complexities of her identity drive the story, and it's a fast-paced story. Even though references to the first book in the series were plentiful, they served well in helping me get to know and understand the characters and their motivations.

This book had plenty of twists and turns with a healthy dose of suspense along the way. It drew from the real life struggles many victims of assault deal with, having to bear the burden of "proof". The story was compelling, the descriptions were vivid, and the writing was skillful. This is a read I would definitely recommend for fans of psychological thrillers, particularly those with a strong female lead!

Really good read. Twisty. 4*.

I do wish I had read the previous book, as this one is a sequel. Although everything is explained, I feel that there would have been added depth with first hand knowledge of what had transpired.

Victoria Mancusio has been receiving threats against herself and her family. She thinks she knows who is threatening her, and sets out to do something about it.
Victoria was assaulted when she was at University, and as a result she did not continue her studies.

She finds out that her attacker has not stopped his shenanigans, and finds the student that was assaulted, to convince her to lay charges against the vile man.

There is a really fantastic twist in this story, something I would not have been able to predict.

Thanks to the publishers and to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I definitely think this should come with a suggestion to read the first book. I spent most of this feeling like I was missing big chunks of information.
I also spent a lot of time wondering if Sutton was the bad guy or if it was actually Victoria, possibly because I didn’t have any backstory.
It would have been a twist that Jenna and Sutton were working together the entire time.
I enjoyed this and read it in one sitting, I had to know what happened.
I might go and read the first book, Victoria is quite an interesting character.
I received a copy from NetGalley and am leaving this review voluntarily.

A fantastic read that was fast paced, gripping, full of twists and unpredictability, it kept me guessing until the end. I will be reading more by this author.

This was a very enjoyable storyline. There was just enough o everything I like in my books, intriguing with just the right amount of romance without becoming sappy. It held my interest until the very end with a great closing which wrapped everything up nicely.

Victoria is a new mother but all is not well in her world. She is receiving death threats and although she believes she knows who sending them she doesn’t want to tell her husband about it. She tells him she is going on a tour of museums to find local talent in and around New Mexico but really she’s going to Arizona. There is a lot in this book that I don’t want to say because it would give things away but I will say this there is an incident and she tries to get the victim to come forward but she is reluctant. This is the second book in the Hudson Series and although I didn’t read the first book I really didn’t feel like I should have everything was explained and I didn’t think not reading book one took anything away from this one. I thoroughly enjoyed this book I did think it was odd she didn’t want to tell her husband but it worked for the plot in there was an OMG moment that totally took me by surprise. This really is so worth reading I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m glad I got to read it. I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Yes it’s a sequel but you don’t need to read the first one to enjoy this one. I didn’t even realize this was a series. Lol

This book is a super quick read (I read it in less than a day) and it was a good mystery.

Luckily, this book is a standalone sequel to the author's previous book, Killer Motives. If you didn't read the first one. Victoria had what she thought was the perfect life. Chaos took over life and in one year her life changed drastically. She discovered that her husband was having an affair and later his mistress is found murdered. She comes from wealth and a powerful family, that didn't exactly help matters. Now, after she survived a very unlucky year and she wants her life to go back to normal. With her baby girl. But her normality is shattered by a person from her past that is threatening her. A riveting thriller and suspenseful plot. Witty and a well written story and characters. A fast paced read and a page turner.

A compelling story. Is she paranoid or is she really stuck in the past? She spends a lot of time, money and determination to prove her version of facts. Not a bad story but am I the only one that expected a different outcome?
