“This book makes it clear that the Sacred Heart devotion is not some sentimental practice of piety from the good old days but is instead an important practice that can help families find hope in the midst of the struggles and challenges of today’s world. In the Litany of the Sacred Heart, Jesus is invoked as the Abyss of All Virtues. Emily Jaminet takes several of those virtues and demonstrates through stories, reflection questions, and practical advice how they can help families and individuals find peace in the Heart of Jesus."

For many years now I have been growing in my own devotion to the Sacred Heart so I was very excited to come upon this title. This is a very interesting little work in which Emily Jaminet mixes shares stories from her own life (and the lives of others) with quotes and sound theology to help draw the reader into practices that she learned from the Sacred Heart.
