Such an amazing book, the characters were relatable and the twists were amazing. I did not want to put this down. Highly recommend, can't wait to read more of her work.

The universal themes of not being enough, trying to be independent, and how hard it can be to let go of control, might relate to most of us, I'm guessing. I definitely feel linked to those.

I'm am writing this review on the day of my ME Anniversary, with having flowers sent by friends twice this week. One bouquet on the first day of Spring, tulips this morning. Coincidentally, because I've told neither of them I'm ill for exactly 18 years today. Yet let's not get started on the relationship with some family members...

So yeah, I appreciate A Florist Called Daisy for the real life feeling of the story.

I really enjoyed this insta love novel. The books was well written and easy to read. I was hooked right away and was having a hard time putting the book down.

If you are a fan of the “insta-love” trope, this book is definitely for you. After a florist called Daisy and Stewart, a famous musician, meet they are instantly connected to each other and have a deep belief that they are solemates. Throughout the book they struggle with balancing their relationship with Stewart’s fame, as well as mental health and past trauma from their parents. At times I found the main characters’ relationship giving me whiplash from their quick changes between fights to cuteness. Yet all in all, I found the story very charming and definitely worth the read.

What an absolutely great read! The whirlwind romance is exactly what I’d expect if a “nobody” met a “somebody” The steam from the interaction with the frontman Stewart and Daisy was fantastic! I also loved adding her Nan into her story. The characters surrounding the couple were well thought out and other than Izzie “the drama queen” were fun to read about as well! Also giving Daisy the issue of self harm and the importance of seeking help was wonderful. The light brought to real issues in writing let’s those with issues feel seen. This was really a fun read all around!

Daisy is a florist who meets Stewart, the lead singer of a band, at an after party she snuck into. The two hit it off immediately, so what’s the problem? 1. He’s famous and has a reputation, 2: one of Daisy’s ‘best friends’ has called dibs on Stewart and having any type of connection with him would break ‘girl code’, and 3. Daisy has a lot of trauma with abandonment and not feeling like she is good enough. Read as these two unlikely people make a quick connection and their love play out.

I’m not sure what ‘troupe’ this story would fall into- love at first sight, celebrity romance? It was almost a slow burn for me even though the two characters got together very quickly. I thought the romance between Daisy were cute, but repetitive at times. It took me a bit to get over some English words that I’m unfamiliar with, but after that overall enjoyed the story.

I binged this in a day.
Really enjoyed this cute love story between Daisy and Stewart. The characters were likable & well-written. The book had a clear voice and was paced nicely. The romance aspects were satisfying and I grew to care about the characters. Would read more from this author. The cover is adorable, too.
PS- The Star Wars references were cute.

I really liked the book. At times Daisy could be too much her snarkiness. But, it was part of who she was. Stewart Burns was the opposite, he was a smile. I read it in a day, it was a wee pleasure to spent a morn.

Beya was different than the usual books I end up enjoying, Beya's writing style is fun and descriptive, letting her characters come to life in realistic, and honest ways. I personally loved her references to other pop culture such as Star Wars and Midsommer Murders. I also really enjoyed that Stewart the main male character was allowed the opportunity to openly express his feelings and not fall into a typical stoic and closed off male character trope. I found this book to be endearing and worth the read. The few things however that I didn't necessarily enjoy about this book were other tropes in which the main character Daisy at times fell into the "I'm not like other girls" trope, as well as the problematic "best friend" Izzie. Overall though I'm Happy I read this book as I enjoyed the realistic relationships that were explored.

n insta-love story about a hopeless romantic front man and pessimistic florist which I finished in one sitting. I was quite surprised that I even did that. Usually, insta-love gets boring for me after a while but this book, to me, did not have any slow parts. I loved everything about this book. The setting, the characters and the writing. The plot flowed so well and was well paced coupled with the description writing style which made it was easy to finish this as I did in one sitting. Of course I was giggling hard at the FMC and MMC’s interactions. The witty banter, the swoon-worthy lines and the healthy communication between the them, *chef’s kiss*

It was not only a love story between two different yet similar characters. It was also a healing journey particular for the FMC and while I felt so much sympathy for her at various parts of the book it made me want to continue reading to see her growth and her interactions with her support systems whether it was the MMC, her friends or her family.

This book was told through the FMC so I was a bit disappointed I didn’t get the MMC’s side of things, but it was really easy to see how he felt about her because of how honest we throughout the book which I appreciated so you didn’t necessarily need to read his side of things.

Overall a fun read.

Never read a insta love novel before and this certainly didn’t disappoint at all I couldn’t stop read this book at all. It is Such a great book the characters were all so relatable and so well written and the twists in this book were done so well. I did not want to put this down book down I ended up reading it in a day as it was that good. I would Highly Highly recommend I cant wait to read more from this author in the future. Xx

Well, this was a perfect read for me, a beautiful romance, intelligent characters, but with Flaws, some pretty big ones that affected them and the story hugely.
Those flaws, the bits that made it feel so real were handled really well. The self harm aspect, I really understood the motivation, and the feeling of release. Its something so often misunderstood, and of course, so difficult to control, along with that feeling it must be hidden at all costs.
The friendship issue, the Girls Code, made for some interesting moments, and for me showed that Daisy's friend was actually anything but. There's a line in the Girl ( and Bro) Code, but there's delusions of fantasy and for Daisy to not date Stewart because her friend felt he was her OTP was just ridiculous. They'd never dated, Stewart wasn't interested and had made that clear. Thankfully Stewart was very persuasive.
Towards the end I did get a bit irritated towards Daisy when she still was trying to hide their relationship from her friend, going to some extraordinary excuses to do so. That just wasn't fair on Stewart. Of course that leads to some drama, some heartbreak, all of which make for a perfect romance for me, I like a few potholes on the way to a HEA ;-)

Stars: Five, a really fun read, with some very thought provoking parts. And fab flowers, which as a flower lover I really appreciated.

This was a nice quick read. I related to Daisy because I too have trouble expressing my feelings. My walls are a defense mechanism. Unfortunately, people have disappointed me too many times and I've been told my feelings are wrong. Why would I share them freely? I've been told they aren't valid, so I'll keep them to myself. Anyways, this story was cute. Love at first sight. Soulmates. Daisy is caught off guard by Stewart because he is definitely not her usual type, but the chemistry on both ends is unmistakable. Both have some issues though. One thrives being the center of attention, while the other values their privacy and introverted tendencies...hello hi, that's me too! Daisy has some other issues and ways to cope with stress that aren't exactly easy to handle. It does become a problem for both as they navigate this relationship. Along with the fact that she's hiding this relationship from her best friend. Opening up is scary. Change is scary. Life is a scary mess at times, but sometimes you need to step out of that comfort zone... life or your soulmate may just pass you by.

I was curious about this story as a romance between a florist and a rock-star is a bit unusual.
I loved how Daisy evolved in this story and the chemistry between her and Stewart.
It's not a perfect book, it drags at times, but there's a lovely story and the author is a good storyteller.

I went in completely blind with this one. As always it was the cover that drew me to the book and the fact that it had a bit of Rockstar romance made it all the better. I really enjoyed it

This book is about a girl names Daisy who was pushed to go to a concert for a band she didn't even like by her "best friend." When she snuck into the after party, she noticed that the lead sing, Stewart Burns, was sitting right beside her. One thing led to another and then came a rocky relationship.

In this story you see happiness, sadness, heartbreak, love, people finding out who they really are, awful "best friends," and just the cutest grandma. When I say this book was a rollercoaster, I 100% mean that it's a rocky road. But I absolutely adored this book. I loved going on this journey with the characters and seeing a soul mate type of love grow!

The one person I absolutely HATED in this book is Izzie. She was supposed to be Daisy's best friend but she was always sooo mean to her. She seems like an entitled brat. Idc how much trauma she has been through, no one should act like that. But it made the storyline great so I really don't hate that she was in it. Every book has to have a villain, right?

I highly recommend this book, but I would suggest checking trigger warning before you read it.

An insta-love type trope between florist Daisy and famous musician Stewart when they met by chance at an after party. Daisy’s best friend is obsessed with the band and Stewart but was in the hotel room with a migraine and couldn’t attend. Daisy and Stewart shave a secret relationship which actually was portrayed well and I enjoyed. I didn’t like how she kept it a secret from her friend Izzie for so long. Although to be fair Izzie really was a terrible friend, however Stewart didn’t deserve that.

I did find Daisy to be too much at times with her whining and acting not good enough. Stewart really changed for her and it was obvious his love was deep and he wanted 100% in return. It was sad when Daisy couldn’t do that. Stewart was so understanding and gave it his all. I wanted to shake Daisy!

The writing was engaging and although a bit on the long side it was an easy read. I loved the grandma in the story as well! The interaction with Stewart and the grandma “nan” was precious.

I found this book to be very real and relatable.

I read this in a couple days. I enjoyed the soulmate story and it had such a great pace and great banter. I did get frustrated with certain situations and how things were handled. It was fun and full of sadness. I liked being invested in the main characters journey and watching them find themselves as individuals and as a couple.

Full of cute references from pop culture and classic novels. The cover is also beautiful! My 90s grunge heart was very happy.

good romance between a band member and a floirst . love that she has friends and slowly finding a way to have a relationship with him. love her friends and that she wants to protect them. good story.

A very charming story about a florist and a musician. I really enjoyed this story, however the FMC felt very pick-me. Fights in the story were quickly resolved, which is great but I wish there would have been a little bit more groveling.

Yes, Daisy is a florist who isn't interested in love until Stewart Burns enters her life through music.
While there is self-harm in this book, it is met with love and tenderness over time.
