I cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy of this book! Two years ago, we sold the home we had lived in for over 20 years and bought a generational family home. A handy guide like this would have made the process so much smoother! Packed with helpful lists, checklists, worksheets and useful tips, Home: A Journal will be invaluable even now as I take over the management of our new home. It’s not just a practical resource; there is also plenty of space to document favourite traditions and special memories. Beautifully designed, comprehensive and well organized, this book is essential for every thoughtful homeowner and would make a great housewarming gift.

I’m extremely grateful to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Wellfleet Press for this digital review copy and look forward to purchasing when it’s published.

Home: A Journal would make a lovely gift for someone buying their first home. Part planner, part scrapbook, it serves as a place to log the details of the home-buying process like open houses visited and offers made, then once a home is purchased it has helpful reminders about changing addresses, a guest book section for a housewarming party, and then a section to document favorite things about the new neighborhood like restaurants and parks. There's a place to add details and photos of the first night the the new home, first meal cooked, seasonal observations during the first year, milestones and holidays, the decorating process, on-going maintenance tasks, etc. I will recommend to people purchasing a home, particularly people already engaged in the planner or scrapbooking spaces who will enjoy using it to create a "baby book" of memories of their home. Thank you to Netgalley and Wellfleet Press for a digital review copy.

I loved this! Not only is it a fantastic keepsake / memory book for your home, but it’ll help you get (and stay) organised. Moving house can be really stressful - this book will help you with what needs doing, and what’s been done, all in one organised place. There’s space for sketches, lists, facts and stats, wallpaper measurements, and much more - it has everything!
Would definitely recommend.
Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group – Wellfleet Press and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.

"Home: Chronicle of Our Home Sweet Home" is an invaluable and heartwarming book that deserves a solid five-star rating. This beautifully designed and thoughtfully organized journal perfectly captures the essence of how a house becomes a home, chronicling the journey, the people, the pets, and the cherished memories made within.

This book serves as more than just a journal; it's a true companion on your homeownership journey. Divided into six sections, it covers everything from the initial steps to home ownership, the history of your home and its surroundings, and the everyday moments that make your house feel like home.

The "Road to Home" section was a wonderful way to record the journey of finding my home, from the initial search to the closing details. It allowed me to capture the excitement and anticipation of becoming a homeowner (I wrote it in a separate journal a few years ago but transferred it to this).

"The History of a Home" was a unique section that dove into the history of my home, including folklore, legends, and interesting facts about the area. It added depth to my connection with my home and the community.

"Welcome Home" is where I recorded the personal touches and changes I made to my space to make it uniquely mine. This section celebrates the moments that transform a house into a home.

"Creating Your Space" was practical and creative, allowing me to plan and document the different areas of my home, my decoration ideas, and renovation projects. It was a place for all of my dreams and inspirations.

"Projects in Progress" provided a practical way to keep track of my home improvement projects, from to-do lists to progress charts. It helped me stay organized and on top of my home projects.

"Inner Workings" was a crucial section for recording essential information about my home, including contacts for maintenance and repairs. It ensured that I have all the necessary details at my fingertips.

One of the standout features of "Home" is its space for pasting in swatches, site surveys, business cards, or small mementos. This added a personal and tactile dimension to the journal, allowing me to preserve physical memories.

In summary, "Home: Chronicle of Our Home Sweet Home" is a five-star keepsake that captures the essence of turning a house into a home. It's a journal that will become a cherished family heirloom, passed down through generations, preserving the memories and moments of your homeownership journey. It's a must-have for anyone who wants to celebrate the magic of home.
