A completely new (to me) way at looking at obesity as a symptom of inflammation. Offers a very doable program to heal inflammation and see the weight melt away. The delicious recipes themselves are worth the price of admission. Highly recommended!

You know those college textbooks that you studied, highlighted, underlined, and made flashcards for? This book is full of the kind of information that you want to do just that to its pages.

I love lists and for the 7-Day challenge, the author has a handy list of power plants to eat during the challenge, with a goal of having at least 30 of them in one week. Going to a restaurant? There are recommended dishes that tend to be healthier options listed here. There are also recipes, exercises, and much more. Diets may be hard to stick to, but we can all try a 7-day plan to build a healthier body.

This was a great book. I've read a lot of books on this subject, but this book still contained new information that I haven't read before. And it includes some delicious recipes!
