I enjoyed this book immensely and think it is foundational for understanding what thinking does to us and its overall effect on our civilization. It may sound silly to say that thoughts and thinking are not the same thing, but that’s only on surface level.
As I continue to work with adolescents and the adults in their lives the topic of detrimental thinking comes up again and again. This book is a practical guide that is applicable for those who are interested in this work. This edition has the exercises spelling out in more detail in a separate section. I look forward to reading more from this author when I can get my hands on it.

The book basically gives you one of the big secrets of life. It's not easy to use it, but with a lot of practice I think life can become easier and definitely more serene. I'm trying to implement what I learned.
