Magic and mystery - what a combination! This middle-grade tale of adventure is rip-roaring good fun!

Felix can see the future through premonitions and this has made him an outcast at school. He's being expelled when a special school in London comes to his rescue but it turns out this is no ordinary school - this is the Future Agency, where kids are brought to focus their magical skills and protect the world! Felix is a Spirit Seeker and, together with his friends, Luke, a Dream Weaver, and Eira, a Blue Moon, he uncovers a villain determined to spread dark magic and destroy the Agency.

This story is fast-paced and good fun. It's filled with just the right amount of history and adventure to grip any middle-grade reader and my 9-year-old son is sure to adore this!! Can I have the sequel now please???

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley, Simon & Schuster Children's UK, and Rachel Morrisroe for this opportunity.
Felix and the Future Agency is a book about a boy, Felix, and how he is whisked off to a secret agency underground whose main goal is to protect the world from disasters. Felix has a special gift, and with that and his newfound friends, they try to help save the world the only way they know how.
Reading this book, I was captivated by the story and needed to know what happened next. The story was beautifully woven together, the characters all had their own individual personalities, and together they worked well. The plot had me guessing who the bad guy was until it was revealed. The connection between two characters came full circle and was written wonderfully.
I’ll definitely be buying a copy of this book when it comes out and suggesting it to my friends with children. This is one of the best children’s fiction books I have read in a while.

Plunge head first into a cup of tea … or if you’d rather try something else then make that plunge into the magical world that surrounds Felix and the Future Agency. This book is fast-paced, entertaining, filled with adventure and danger and has a number of twists and surprises which made me race through the pages eager to find out what will happen next.

When the main character makes accurate premonitions and can speak with ghosts, you know you’re in for something unusual. Add in a rich variety of characters, connections to historical London and a world filled with a different kind of magic this book was a joy to read. I’m now impatiently awaiting the next book in the series to find out what happens next with Felix and his new friends, because the end was a massive cliffhanger.

Thanks to Simon & Schuster (Australia) and Netgalley for letting me reading an advanced copy in exchange for a review; and to the author Rachel Morrisroe who has made me want my own celestaur.
